New Implement Month

I've been taking an inventory of all the implements around the house--in drawers, hanging on the walls, on tables and in closets--that have never been used for their intended purpose. That's right; we have several perfectly good pervertibles that have never been introduced to my bottom.

Why, you ask, are they gathering dust? There are a couple of reasons. Some are hidden in drawers because while they seemed like a good idea at the time, I simply haven't found the courage to actually go through with trying them out. And some are out in plain view, begging to be used, but Ron hasn't taken the very blatant hint.

So it's time for action. I'm declaring this to be Try a New Implement Month, and want to share the fun with you. Each week or so, I'm going to choose a new implement and leave it out for Ron to use when he spanks me. After, I'll report back on how it felt, what Ron thought about it, and whether I'll ever let it near my posterior again.

For week number one, I'm choosing the backscratcher. Stay tuned.
P.S. Happy Groundhog Day and Candlemas.

Just a warning Hermione back scratchers are EVIL almost as bad as the EVIL plastic. Not sure about yours with those little wheel things, mine has a solid handle but it's bite is awful! Oh and mine is made out of bamboo which might be why it is so bad as well.

I have to agree with Scunge about back scratchers. But if you like that awful pasta measurer, maybe you'll like it!

I agree.. back scratchers are completely evil! Had one used as a last minute grab something to spank with kind of spanking, and its horrible. Good luck!

Good luck with that. I've heard only unpleasant things about back scratchers. So far, I'm not even the slightest bit curious what it feels like. Be sure to let us know if there's anything good about it. I'm looking forward to hearing about the rest of your new toys. :)

Not on my list of favorites, that one. Too ouchie on the backs of the thighs and even on the butt. But will watch with interest to see how you like it...

That is a great idea! Should have picked a longer month, lol... but other than that... it's perfect! We'll look for a new implement to try out starting now.

Hi. *smiles* I've never tried one myself, but Ceeci, the only person I know who has had one used on her bottom, is of the opinion that they should be hidden from all view of a spanker. I'll be interested in reading your report.

Kate - This one's bamboo too. I wasn't planning on experiencing the wheels, but that's up to Ron.

Indy - We haven't tried the pasta paddle yet, although the post did inspire Ron to use the maple paddle on me. Ouch!

Ronnie - Interesting. Uh-huh.

Measha - Evil is a word people keep on using to describe it. I wonder why?

K - I have a feeling it's going to be a verrrry long month for me.

Dante - Loads of fun, huh? Spoken like a true dom!

Tiggs - Watch? Um, nobody's going to watch this happen! LOL

A.S.S. - You think I didn't pick the shortest month on purpose? VBG

Prefectdt - Thank you.

Greenwoman - That's what I keep hearing. maybe I won't enjoy this project as much as I had hoped.

Hugs,
Hermione

Hope it's sturdy! Ours broke, but then we tend to break things often...
sounds like it's going to be a fun month!

Hey, don't listen to them...its like listening to horror stories about giving birth when you are pregnant! You know Ron is a good top, and you do fun spankings, not punishment, so I am sure he will temper the swats of any new instrument till he learns its power! hugs, xxxxxxxxxxxx

It's not a coincidence that the initials of the back scratcher is BS.

Personally I think all BS's should be burned. I've already started planning a BS revolution.

Bonfire scheduled...date to be announced!

HUGS!

I have to go wiht Grace on this. I love nearly all our toys - except the backscratchers. They are no fun!!! But then again we are all different so I hope you like it better than I do.

Hugs,
PK

Radha - I think it seems sturdy enough for my backside.

Daisychain - Ron doesn't use his full strength on me, but if I'm not warmed up, certain implements can really hurt.

Grace - A bonfire would be nice today. We're in the deep freeze again.

PK - I intend to think positive thoughts. For the first three seconds, at least.

Hugs,
Hermione

Hermione: looks way to flimsy for anything except play... Buy a new bath brush, and you will rue the day... (Ron will rule the day)

Hi Hermione:
Your back scratcher and mine look very very different. Yours looks a little scary. Mine is made out of plastic tubing and has a real looking hand on the top, the hand even has tiny little nails on it. He has threatened to spank me with it, but luckily he has not carried thru with the threat. I am curious to hear the results. One last question what is Candlemas?
Take care

When we gather at PK's house this summer there will definitely be a bonfire... a big one!

I thought the BS looked like lots of fun. I figured my friends were just being wimps. Um, wrong, way wrong, really, really wrong! The BS is safely hidden until it makes its final journey to the bonfire.

Don't say we didn't warn you!

I hadn't heard of this either, AG, lol, so I googled it!
"In modern life many people may not be aware that on February 2 we celebrate an ancient feast, common to the Church of both East and West, which is mentioned clearly in Leviticus and Luke.

February 2 is "Candlemas" in many churches and is the day for observing the ritual purification of Mary forty days after the birth of Jesus as well as the presentation of Jesus in the Temple in Jerusalem (see Luke 2:21-40). The day has pagan roots and was a Christian adaptation of the older practices for this midwinter festivity from which we get our "Groundhog Day." Since the presentation was also the purification of Mary (40 days after childbirth), the church developed ritual practices known as the "Churching of Women" (see additional notes at bottom of page) or "Thanksgiving of Women after Childbirth." The following is an explanation

Seven days after Christmas, January 1, is the feast of our Lord's circumcision

Thirty three days after that, February 2 is the feast of his being offered in the Temple, the purification of the Virgin Mary. So Candlemass is fourty days after the birth of Jesus.

This day also used to have great significance in the rural calendar, because the date lies half way between the winter solstice and the spring equinox, so it marks the day upon which winter is half over! . It is a time of the year which naturally forms a transition period in winter - there is a sense in which thank God we are moving on into brighter and better days".
Theres loads more, but this is the gist of it!
We should celebrate this as a festival at school, I guess...will bookmark it for next year! Thanks, Hermione! xxx

Mike - One bath brush in the house is more than enough!

AG - Tiny nails? Oh, you mean fingernails!

Ceeci - Naw, my friends are just being wimps.

Or, then again, maybe I'd better bury it in a snowbank.

Daisy - Thanks for the explanation. You said it much better than I could have.

Hugs,
Hermione

Jean - Who knows? My report may give a boost to our economy by increasing backscratcher sales.

Mina - I feel it's my duty!
