A Bottom Song

CBC radio never ceases to amaze me with their eclectic music selections; my daily commute is always an adventure. Recently, Radio 1 played a portion of a song by the now-defunct Anglo-Irish experimental band, Stump.

Why the song is called Buffalo, I can't imagine. A more appropriate title would be Ode to Big Bottoms. Maybe after listening to it, you can suggest a better name for the song.

You know, these guys are really great--accept for the unpleasant, tuneless, discordant sounds they make. Regarding the lyrics, I've heard schizophrenics that made more sense. I could also do without watching them waggle their bottoms. Can't imagine why they weren't successful.

Not sure that's going to be a good title.

LOL Hermione you certainly find them.

Never heard of them before. I think your title is perfect.

You absolutely made my day! I have not laughed like this for a long, long time...
When he was ranting about the fish and chips...well, that was me. I had to stop watching for a while, had some serious breathing problems!!

Lots of giggles

"Big, blubbery bottoms"...haha. Funny song. I definitely like your title better!

Mick - Yeah, except for all that, they could have been stars.

Ronnie - I hadn't heard of them either, but the lyrics caught my attention.

Raven - Does the fish come with chips?

Pink - This was one weird group!

Hugs,
Hermione

Now, THIS video would be a good warning for kids who think drugs won't scramble their brains. Whatever those guys were on, keep it away from ME!!!
Despite the mindblowingly numb tuneless noise they called music, and the whining repetitive senseless lyrics, its the kind of thing you had to watch right to the end, hoping it would get better.... LOL, but, it didn't!!!!!
A title for it? "listening to this rubbish will seriously damage your brain" LOL

Daisy - I think that listening just once, for a giggle, couldn't hurt.
