Wednesday WIN

Creatively naughty, or naughtily creative? Either way, only in Britain!

Not pictured above but just as real and with an appeal to spankos:

Bent Lane
Bottom Street
Bummer's Hill
Butt Lane
Slapper's Hill
Smack Alley
Whip-ma-whop-ma-gate

See the complete list here.

I'm pleased to announced I have not lived in any of those places, though there is a Penistone Drive not far away from my house.

Joey - Me too!

Roz - They are so inventive with descriptive names.

DelFonte - Ouch! That sounds painful!

Hugs,
Hermione

Hermione, I loved all those names. Typically countryside British. Yes, part of my heart will always remain there, because it was my home for 10 years in my early life.

I'm sure glad I'm not driving there. You know, left hand side of the road, and all that, eh, what?
Screech . . . !
Oh, I do beg your pardon.
I'm from out of town, you know.

I happen to live not very far away from a "six mile bottom". That would take SOME spanking don't you think Hermione ?
Kind regards,
Gary.

Six - You were so lucky to have been sheltered there during a terrible time.

Sunny - Very!

Jan - And wouldn't want to, I'll wager.

Janey - That's interesting:)

Ricky - I can't imagine ever learning to drive on the other side.

Arched one - They do indeed!

Gary - It would take a day or two at least:)

Hugs,
Hermione

When my Sir and I lived on The East Coast of the USA in the DC area there was a Dr Belt road!

There is a town in Southeastern Pennsylvania named Paradise. if you are in another town named Blue Ball the way to Paradise is through a town called Intercourse. I am not making this up, Google it.

My first comment.

Hermione said...

Scunge - How kinky is that!

Eric - Welcome! I'm glad you left a comment. Those are some pretty strange names for towns.

Hugs,
Hermione
