Red or Black?

Last Saturday Ron and I had some fun with our ping pong paddle. It's a nice light implement, gives a good sting and makes a lot of noise, so we often choose it. The paddle is covered with roughened rubber, red on one side and black on the other.

Ron was busily whacking away, then he stopped and asked, "Red or black?"

I thought for a moment. "Red," I confidently guessed. After all, I had a 50/50 chance of being right.

"You win!" Ron cried, and gave me my reward: a flurry of swats with the red side, right in the centre of my sweet spot.

After a few more minutes I was asked again, "Red or black?"

This time I chose black.

Ron enthusiastically shouted, "You win!" and proceeded to give me my reward.

The third time I heard the question, I chose black again and my winning streak continued.

"Wow! I must have eyes in my bottom. Just like Laura Petrie, only she had eyes in the back of her...ouch!" My reminiscences of The Dick Van Dyke Show were interrupted by an extra hard swat with the red side, I think. (In case you aren't familiar with that episode, or never saw the show, watch it here. You'll find out where Laura has her extra eyes at the 6:30 mark.)

"Do you want to see what happens when you guess wrong?" Ron asked.

"Sure."

"You lose!" Ron announced, then gave me exactly the same treatment that I had received for winning—hard and fast in the lower middle of my bottom.

So, win or lose, it's all good when it comes to spanking.

Paddles are a noisy and fun implement and the sting is wonderful. On a side note maybe you or another blogger can answer this. When I leave a comment and click on prove I'm not a robot something else pops up preventing the entry of the comment. What is going on?

Win win all round. I'd forgotten about ping pong paddles. Must hunt ours out. Thanks Hermione.

Abby - That is the bottom line all right!

Roz - We both laughed ourselves silly.

Arched one - What happens if you do not click on the "Prove you're not a robot"? I never do, and my comments always go through.

Otherwise, it makes you prove you can read English and choose the correct images (instead of word verification).

Ronnie - Win, set and match!

Hugs,
Hermione

What a great story. Sounds like your husband enjoys spanking you as much as you enjoy being spanked. That is great.

Hi Hermione, what a fun post. I love that you had a win win situation and think I should go and look for our ping pong paddle now.

When I was young (well, younger than I am now - I'm still young), I had two firm beliefs about Dick Van Dyke. First, I thought he lived in the next block over from us. Second, I though that during the daytime that he was the guy who fitted me for shoes at the shoe store. To my eye they looked alike. He, probably with my Mom's connivance, played along.

Ha! I knew that was coming! Tops are so predictable, aren't they? ;-) Oh, and I love that episode. ("I have perfect 20-20-20-20 vision!")

Its those little moments that make it just so intimate I think.
And we have never tried a ping pong paddle!!! Sounds like we should though....

Baxter - I think he enjoys it quite a lot.

Leigh - I tried!

Jan - Go ahead, I dare you.

Nina - I hope you find it and enjoy it.

Jon - How cool is that! One day when I was in high school, I saw him three times. On the DVD Show in the morning, at the theatre in Mary Poppins in the afternoon, then again on the DVD Show current season in the evening.

Erica - That was my favourite episode, aside from the one where he swatted Laura with a rolled-up newspaper.

Julia - Yes, you really need to try one.

Cat - That's a perfect ending line!

Hugs,
Hermione

"It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game," comes to mind, Hermione! :) LOL! Sounds like a very fun and spanky time! How wonderful!

I went to the link that you posted of the Dick Van Dyke episode. It was hilarious! Thanks for sharing. I used to watch back in the day, but don't remember that one. Gave me a good, as well as much needed laugh before bed last night. Everybody check your thumbs!! LOL! Many hugs,

<3 Katie

Hey, I've received my share of paddling with a ping pong paddle!

The thing is, a ping pong paddle is an innocuous object to keep in a house. Less notable than a spanking paddle or flogger.

Except when there's only one visible and no ping-pong balls and no ping-pong table around.

Except also when it's stored in a bedside table.

Katie - You're so right. We always play fair.

I'm glad you enjoyed the clip.

Terps - It was a blast!

Pecan - Very true. As they say, it's location, location, location.

Hugs,
Hermione
