A Cartoon Startle

The comic strip Overboard portrays the lives of two groups of feuding pirates, and usually features the antics of the mice that live on board and the dogs that seem almost human. I found an unexpected startle in it the other day.


How does one discipline a pirate?


For old times' sake, here's a cartoon from the days when spanking was a fairly common subject.

    Just hit me...(pun intended)...shouldn't the cartoon be drawn the other way? Perhaps in a different setting... The guy getting punishment for 'early withdrawal' Think about it.

    Hmmm. How does one discipline a pirate? I would remove his pants, tie him to the plank and whip his naughty butt with an oar.

    Thanks many, I hadn't run across "Overboard" yet! To answer your question, a pirate must be spanked 'Aarrrrrd!

    Well SOMEBODY had to say it.
