Friday FAIL

Today I have some vintage advertisements for your viewing pleasure. They're quite interesting even though there is no spanking involved.

Gather 'round the  big 12 inch screen, kids.

I'm sure it had a good effect on the young father too.

Then get the pliers and rip out that aching tooth all by yourself.

Okay, I admit this one isn't real.

  3. I am glad you told us the last one wasn't really - because it was scary. Advertising has come a long way, sometimes for the better and sometimes not.

    Thanks for sharing.

  6. ROFL!!! Beer for baby; how wholesome.

My mother had one of those old-fashioned crank meat grinders. She used to make chopped liver with it. I hope to God it was chicken liver she used!

  7. Joey - Well, some were good, and some weren't.

    SNP - My pleasure.

    Red - Naughty, isn't it?

Sunnygirl - It made me think of Little Shop of Horrors.

    Julie - You said it!

Ronnie - Good, I'm glad you weren't too disgusted.

Erica - My grandmother had one too. She ground meat for head cheese, and let me grind dry bread for breadcrumbs with it. Fun, fun, fun!

    Hugs,
    Hermione
