Friday FAIL

Last year, November 12 was proclaimed National Smack a Bum Day in Dublin, Ireland.


It was meant as a joke, but some people took it seriously, and the Twitterverse was in an uproar. Read all about it here.

I wonder if it will be celebrated again this year. I'll go to Walmart, bend over and pretend to pick something up off the floor, and see if anyone smacks my bum. Come to think of it, I might have better luck if I try it at the local Irish pub.

    Probably best confined to home, however, I did suggest at work one time for us to emulate the athletes and after someone did something really terrific, we smack them on their rear and say "good job!" Didn't go over all that well, especially since it was a government office! LOL

    Smack a bum day? That would be a great promo for Hooters. A coupon for a smack on the bottom for every meal purchased.

    I'm not at all sure this counts as a FAIL. I think it's a terrific idea and should be embraced wholeheartedly. I can see a national Smack Booty Day to promote recreational spanking. Time it coincide with the release of the 50 Shades movie. We could get endorsements from prominent politicians, psychologists, doctors (how about Dr.Phil?). Get everyone on the bandwagon. I'm excited about this idea...
