ReplyDeleteHow funny, Hermione! I am a stickler for grammar as well. However, I was certainly not very strong at math. In all the years I taught school, I do not remember ever coming across a student that was equally strong at math and language. I think we need to make room for both kinds of intelligence.

So are capital letters. There is a big difference between "Go help your uncle jack off his horse" and "Go help your Uncle Jack off his horse."

I've always thought grammar was the possessive of gramma, as in:
