Friday FAIL

It's Friday, and at most of the places I have worked, everyone goes out for lunch together to celebrate the successful completing of another week. But before you choose a restaurant, you might want to see what these insiders had to say about the fast food places where they worked.

    best to pack your own sandwich! We did that for our entire working career, as it saved so much money. Wherever possible, we try to eat at independent restaurants that have to survive on quality, and they deserve everyone's business.

    Chick Fil-A grilled sandwich = 320 calories, most everything else if fried

    I am not sure if there are many fast food places I would want to eat at after the stories the kid's friends tell of working in them. Best to eat your own food.

    The office fridge is a very frightening place. I didn’t think plastic biodegraded until I look inside the one where I worked. Scary thing was that people still put their food in it.

    It's quite true that questionable things happen in restaurants of all types, and I heard horror stories from my stepson when he worked at a popular chicken restaurant. Homemade is best.

    ICK!!! Not a fan of these places at all!

    Rob and I were eating breakfast at a local, brunch place that had a good reputation. We watched a mouse scurry up the wall, and along the sills. Needless to say, that did me in. We haven't been back since. These things happen everywhere. Best not to think about it, or I have a feeling that we would never be dining out! There's no place like home?

    Interesting fails, Hermione. The cleanliness and service in most restaurants is dependent on the management and what they will allow. When I worked fast food, there were managers who didn't care and managers who were clean freaks. :) Thanks for sharing.
