I've had to put up a sign on our office dishwasher: "Please do not empty the dishwasher while it is running - wait for it to finish." Currently considering adding a second sign: "Please check whether the dishwasher is clean or dirty before emptying."
Some people in other offices complain that their coworkers never empty the dishwasher. They have no idea how much I envy them.
