Once again we're here together for the ever-popular weekend spanko brunch. I'm glad you could make it, because I have an interesting topic for you today, aimed at both participants of a spanking. We discussed it exactly ten years ago today, so let's try it again.
Spanking can be a very noisy business. There's the crack of the paddle, the whoosh of the belt, the slap of the hand...you get the idea. But what about the sounds a spankee makes?
Spankees, do you make a lot of verbal noise? How would you feel if you were somehow prevented from speaking or otherwise expressing yourself? Spankers, what do you think of the sounds coming from the spankee's mouth? Do you enjoy them, or do you discourage speaking and crying out?

During a spanking, I don't "speak" a lot with actual words. Instead, there are lots of grunts and groans and OW, OW, OWs.
I'm not sure whether my wife cares one way or another about the vocalizing. But, I think she does like the sound of the paddle or strap as it makes contact.
One time I was apparently making too much noise so she stuffed her panties into my mouth. And yes, I'm aware of how completely made up it sounds but it really did happen. And I loved it!
During most spankings, strappings and paddlings, I try to remain silent and not disturb the moment. Even when she goes longer and the discomfort grows, I just try to let it in. When we are in a session, most of my responses are heavy breathing, which I try to control so as not to hyperventilate. Occasionally, when she wants to maximize the effect, she inserts a breathable ball gag, which allows only moaning and lots of drooling, but it is fun.
As for her, she loves the impact noise and occasionally comments when the strap or tawse land perfectly.
When I am spanking the Misses she will yell out a bit and sometimes break out into full blown crying. I love how the sounds of the spanking impacts blend with the cries. They go together quite nicely.
When the Misses spanks me I will yell out “owww and oohhhs!”.
We both like spankings too much to beg for it to stop.

For fun spankings, I love the little moans the spankees make. One woman I spanked made the most adorable grunting noises - and when I commented on them, she blushed so red she almost struggled to breathe.
For punishment spankings, I expect her to whine, squeal and plead. If she's not promising insistently to behave forever and ever, she's not being spanked hard enough. So yeah, I love the noise(s).
During a spanking I usually let out a series of grunts and groans and oww and ooh's. Rick likes my verbal responses and will often adjust accordingly.

When my wife/mommy applies the bath brush to my bare bottom I'm very loud, there is no way I cannot be. Over her lap she scolds me and I must respond, loud: you have been a naughty little boy and I must say Yes Mommy, and I'm sorry Mommy. The bath brush landing hard and fast, I squirm, kick, Plead with Mommy, and I let her know it hurts, her response is a spanking is suppose to hurt and be loud just adds to the punishment. Mommy will not tolerate a naughty little boy. If she decides I need a bedtime spanking that is when I'm the loudest, a sore spanked bottom getting another spanking you can't help being loud. Jack
As I have always strived, and often failed, to be a Stoic Spankee, I try my best myself not to make a noise during a spanking. I do enjoy it when a Spanker can make me cry out during a spanking. To be honest, I am pleased when a spanking becomes a bit of a contest, me trying to stay quiet, whilst the Top/Domme is trying to make me make some noise. Unless they cheat with not enough time between strokes/swats/pats or something else.

I don't make (or any) much noise when on the receiving end. Usually the occasional "Emmmm!" None of the lovelies who have had me OTK ever prevented me from expression, probably because I'm a bit of a wuss and spanking for us is the erotic thrill I/we get from it. Physically restrained? An absolute "NO!" for me. Never asked if I could restrain her - during a spanking! A bunch of old neckties, a bowl of strawberries, and some whip cream - well, that's another story.

Love them. But, again, I'm a wuss as a spanker. It's only a guide in directing the action. Discourage them? Nope! Helps to understand her at that moment.
