As a spankee, do you thank your spanker after a spanking? As a spanker, do you expect or demand such a courtesy?

I don't usually thank Rick for a spanking and it's not generally expected however I have on the odd occasion.

I don't, usually, but I *have* said thank you when we have a Ddlg session of playing (and spanking) - which I only mention here specifically cos sometimes the dynamic is less obvious.
After a spanking I always offer a full formal, thank you. Usually in at least one full sentence. This is accompanied by a small bow. I never offer or seek a hug after this, but I often do get a hug from the other party, A hug is most welcome, but only if it is genuinely meant. I would not like it if I felt that the other party felt they had to hug me.

Often, sometimes immediately following as part of roleplay, sometimes a while afterward, thanking her for enthusiastically indulging me. It's just good manners.
When my wife/mommy is done with the spanking I must say I will be a good little boy Mommy and sorry for being naughty. My wife/mommy will accept and point to the wall and no rubbing and no talking. Jack
I’ll often apologize for the behavior that led up to the spanking - that I’m sorry for being such a recalcitrant naughty disrespectful pouty boy and that I need to learn to follow all her rules. Then I might thank her for spanking me because I know I needed it.
She’ll agree and usually say she needs to spank me more often.
A few times Irene has demanded that I thank her as she’s spanking me. I’ll refuse at first just to be a little annoying then comply.
Yes, I do thank my wife after any spanking. After a long session, when I am totally drained, I give her a deep hug and thank her for taking me into that realm where I feel a total release of any stress. I absolutely love those moments.
The Misses has never thanked me for spanking her and I do not look for it. Consoling with kisses and sex is all that is needed.
