Wanna Bet?

Whenever Ron and I have a friendly disagreement over something, he always challenges my opinion by asking me if I "wanna bet? How much?" He'll then decide on the amount of money at stake and put out his hand so we can shake on it.

A little while ago, I disrupted this comfortable arrangement by saying, in response to his question about the amount of the wager, "a spanking" then holding out my hand. The look of dismay on his face was priceless. "But I don't want a spanking" he wailed.

So I explained, "If I win, I get a spanking, and if you win, you spank me."

"Oh, okay. (Pause) Now wait a minute. That doesn't sound right."

Needless to say, all bets were off on that occasion. But the other night we were watching a TV chef reality show and started speculating on who would be the next one to leave Hell's Kitchen. I guessed contestant A, and Ron opted for contestant B.

"Wanna bet?"

Ron quickly established what was at stake; he pointed a finger at me and declared "a spanking", then at himself and said "no spanking", then extended his hand to me. I grinned at him as we shook hands. Unfortunately, his contestant was chosen for elimination.

I'm glad you got things worked out but your suggestion

"If I win, I get a spanking, and if you win, you spank me."

Seems to me like a great way to settle any bet.

Playing both sides of the chess board is a good thing. And you advanced past solitary too. Your wisdon would have remarkable political ramifications.

We've never bet a spanking before. I love it when Ron thought you would spank him, Ben would have the exact same reaction.

Oh very much my kind of bet. Although actually, our variations normally go, if I win, I get a massage (and a real massage), or um, other pleasure, my choice. If he wins, I get spanked.

I'm glad you enjoyed my story, I do like your blog a lot,

PK - Gee, I thought so too!

Fab - I try leave politics to the politicians.

Carly - Yeah, I thought that was kind of funny.

Angie - I wouldn't mind winning a massage from Ron.

Thank you for the kind words about my blog.

Penfold - Let us know how it works out.

This was a great idea, making bets on disagreements. I need to try it with Mr M sometime I think, although like Angie mentioned I may ask for a lovely massage or new outfit if I win and a spanking for me if he wins!

However a spanking if I win could be nice, as I could decide what with and how hard hehe...yum...

Thanks for the post and great idea!

Hugs, Mrs M

I love bets like that Hermione, shame his contestant was eliminated.

Btw - Hermione, I did enjoy your story, I think I'll send P over to have a read next time we need a new sofa :) You should write more fiction x

Angie - I hope you've read the last book.

Mrs. M - It turns a possible disagreement into something fun.

Ronnie - You can't win them all.

Thank you. I'm glad you liked the story. I can't go into Ikea without thinking about it. And I will try to write more, when I get a suitable inspiration. I don't want to write about discipline, because so many others already do.

We bet spankings all the time. The twist is, the winner gets to pick ~what kind~ of spanking it is.

Suzy almost always picks getting a good girl / erotic spanking when she wins. A loss usually means something a bit harder though, usually with a scolding about the evils of gambling... lol.
