Thanks for the info! It lead me to an article about the term "bank holiday" and its long history in the UK. Very interesting - I never knew what it had to do with banks! Now about those kilts........ I've always wanted Lash to wear one. He's got a little Scottish is his family. Meow
My own husband wears several different kilts and yes that is the traditional way they are worn, but there are exceptions.
While it's poor manners to ask about what's under one, people often do. As such there are a few "traditional" answers to what's worn under a kilt.
"Boots, of course." (or sandals)
"Nothing's worn. It's all in perfect working order."
And a couple more of a vulgar sort, one of which is meant to be deeply insulting to the asker so I will not share them, but they all have to do with a type of lady's make up.
Hermione, if you have an interest in men in kilts, I'll recommend the Outlander novels by Diana Gabaldon. I've just started reading them and enjoying them tremendously. They even have a good healthy dose of spanking in the background. ;)
Jamie Fraser is a spanker and then some. Spanker is too simplistic a word for it. Although, take care. The books are large and you will disappear for some time, emerging all of a tither in need of .. attention.
First off, I posted some pictures once on what truly is under those kilts...you'll find the post here. http://ca-girl.blogspot.com/2008/03/blog-post.html
Second, I LOVE the Outlander books. Jamie is my boyfriend. I LOVE that man!
I must be getting slow. I had to look at this a second time before I got it. It's early here in the hotel I'm at and I'm sure I woke up my neighbors when I laughed.

Thanks I will :) Good health to you Hermione.
My aunt married a Scottish man and he never used to wear anything under his kilt, well that's what he told me.
Love.

I second that about Outlander.

Hermione, love your pussy... Sorry, the adolescent came out in me and I couldn't resist. Am I forgiven?

Meow - Isn't it amazing what you can learn on a spanking blog?
Redxxx - Aye. Be sure to check out the Haggis Hunt here: http://haggishunt.scotsman.com/
Ronnie - My grandfather taught me the correct length of a kilt, and that nothing was worn underneath.
Ms. Betty - LOL! And I will visit the used book shops today to search for Outlander.
Poppy - You've convinced me. I HAVE to read those books.
Michael - That's VERY naughty of you.
Grace - Thanks for posting that link. Those pictures are priceless. The poor Queen!
Mick - I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Hugs,
Hermione
