Even though our good friend Bonnie has hung up her keyboard and retired from blogging, she has a great many stories and experiences to share. I hope you have dropped by My Bottom Smarts from time to time to read them. But that's only one of many great spanking blogs that could give us inspiration to add variety to our spankings.

The Misses bought a lexan paddle once because an internet story talked about how it stung more. It was ok but not a favorite. One story I read explained how the woman was spanked every night for a week. I paddled the Misses after dinner for a whole week. The anticipation was fun and exciting.
No techniques or scenarios but we have in the past got other ideas from blogs. Particularly when we had a domestic discipline dynamic such as alternative discipline techniques, expectations etc.

Yes, wooden spoons spring to mind. That was many years ago, when I was only reading blogs and not blogging myself. And Wheelbarrow position is next on the list of things to try, I think that I saw that on another blog first.

With the rise of AI chat and relationship APPS. If someone came up with a Spanko or BDSM simulated relationship Bot, similar to EVA AI, but for people like us. Would you be prepared to have an image based on yourself used on such an APP? Either as you are now or were in the past (but still over 18). Would it make a difference to you if you got $10(US) for everyone who paid to use the APP with your image on it for at least one year? Would it make a difference if the image was used as a Top, Domme or Sub?

On this I can't say that we have. Rosa doesn't read blogs of any kind, and I don't think I've ever seen anything that sounded enticing that I hadn't already tried. And in all honesty, other than Dan's place, not too many blogs (that are still around) even deal with F/m domestic discipline, and even then, there are so many different approaches to even that singular topic, that finding something that resonates that again hasn't already been thought of personally is rare to nonexistent.
Now as for getting ideas from images found on the internet, well that's a different story. ;-)

Thank you for your kind words. My answer is an unequivocal yes. We're always in the market for new ideas and new spanko experiences. Fortunately, it seems that we still haven't tried everything yet. Not every experiment is successful, but enough are good to sustain our relentless pursuit of science. The best techniques are added to our rotation.
I don’t believe we have. I do get encouragement to continue to peak out of the closet and move into this community of like minded people.
While I really enjoy a thorough thrashing, I have learned from folks at brunch to shy away from trying heavy rubber and lexan paddles. Those sound really nasty.
Well, Irene and I both peruse the Internet but we rarely share what we read and see.
Sometimes she’ll mention having been inspired by something. Several years ago she started tying a narrow scarf around my balls all of a sudden. I could ask her where she got the idea but I haven’t for some reason.
Some of the scenarios I’ve always fantasized about have been enhanced by stuff I’ve read online - one of StrictJulie’s earliest post involved humiliating her husband in a panty boutique. I haven’t mentioned that to Irene but I’ve included the idea in our role play.

I've also got an idea from StrictJulie's blog. She regularly talks about a Muskota Paddle. Not available locally so I emailed her for dimensions. She kindly responded and I have now made one. It is our primary wooden paddle! Very painful but not too damaging.
Yes we have got a few ideas from blogs. I can't remember which blog it was, but we saw the leather rose paddle and had to buy one. It's my favourite leather toy.
