Recap: Spanko Brunch 2.0 for December 10

Noisy spankings? Do tell!

Bonnie: Years ago, before we were married, Randy and I were alone on a boat and far enough out that we could see neither the shore nor any other boats. I distinctly remember the blue plastic bath brush he used to spank me. I removed my bikini bottom and he let me have it. It really hurt and I felt free to express my acute state of raging discomfort. I remember having some amazing marks that day.

Anon: Only in rented B2b homes. 

Wendel: Some of the places we go hiking are pretty secluded. Spanking is always a part of those hikes. Not sure how far the sound carries but the Misses will scream and cry out louder than usual during a paddling.
At home the crack of the belt on the bottom is pretty loud but typically the windows are closed.
To be honest we do not really care if anyone hears. 

Roz: I have to say, sound is something I have always been paranoid about, neighbours hearing etc. Outdoor spankings in secluded spots and spankings in the car have provided opportunity for more noise.

Jack: Quiet, not a chance with my wife/mommy. She could care less if I'm loud, her spankings are meant to insure I think twice before doing it again. The loudest I can recall was not a spanking from my wife/mommy, but one of our first visits to my mother-in-law. I can't recall what I did, but she took me to her bedroom, told my wife/mommy to make some coffee. She bared my bottom and then applied her hairbrush hard and fast. I could not get off her lap no matter how much I squirmed and kicked. She said get as loud as you want, you have been a naughty little boy and your bare bottom is going to red, sore, and sitting will be out of the question.

Rosco: Another good question.

We once lived in a duplex where we knew the young woman who live in the adjacent unit. She asked for us to keep it down when she had clients, without really saying what noises she heard. We tried to schedule at the right times but not always successfully.

Sometimes we’d stick to the riding crop rather than the paddle or leather strap. But I’d also have to keep from yelling.

At one point we moved to a place that seems more soundproof and is a bit further from any neighbors. We don’t worry right now.

I always wondered about Grand Canyon raft trips. You can get pretty far away from others and the river can be loud, but those canyon walls echo.

After 40+ years and thousands of spankings, I’m sure we’ve been heard a few times.

Prefectdt: “Have you had a session where you felt you could make all the noise you wanted?” Yes Many, about 90% of the pay to plays that I have been involved in have been in places where you could scream your lungs out, if you wanted to. Still, I usually try to control my vocalizations, when I can. But large American school paddles and yard sticks can often get me screaming. I struggle to take those.

A.J.: "...where YOU felt YOU could make ALL the noise you wanted?"

Yes. Almost always. Not into hard (like the one Bonnie mentioned with that blue plastic bath brush!!!) spanking so there's not that much volume involved, either when giving or receiving. On the receiving end and when I definitely knew no one could hear, I still didn't find the need to vocalize at the top of my lungs.

On a side note (and I have said this before) outdoor spanking can be a lot of fun, but let me share what I know from my years in the infantry:

Sound REALLY carries when the sun starts to go down!!

What may be OK at mid-day and not carry far - is amplified at night as it gets cooler and can be heard great distances. A mile? Easy. So unless you really have the urge to play at night, it's better in the daytime.

Ronnie: Yes a couple of times when he rented remote villas in Spain. I know sounds carry, but we didn't care as we were far away from other villas.

Hermione: We live in a detached house, with a good distance between us and the homes on either side. With the windows closed, no one can hear us unless they are standing right outside. But we don't want to upset our dogs, so we rarely make an excessive amount of noise. Still, if I feel the need, I can be quite vocal since the dogs have MSNBC on to watch and are busy with their Kongs.
