I have no say in how long the spanking is. My wife/mommy does not even know how long the spanking is. It depends on what I did and how I react while being spanked. The longest one I remember was because I mouthed out to her in front of her mother. She quickly pulled down my pants, underpants and started with her hand, she then said go get your jammies on, thinking that was a short spanking. When I returned in my jammies she was sitting on the chair, the bath brush in hand. She told me to remove the bottoms and I soon was feeling the bath brush landing hard and fast. It lasted long enough that when she stopped, I slowly got up, no rubbing, get to the wall, she sternly said. Yes Mommy, Sorry Mommy. My mother-in-law said that is how a spanking is given. They both talked, I stood saying nothing and not rubbing. I then heard my wife/mommy said care to join me while I give this naughty little boy a bath, yes I do she responded. I was given a bath like a little boy, back into my jammies and told going to bed early. My mother-in-law left my wife/mommy said your getting another spanking prior to bed, Yes Mommy. The next morning I squirmed in church, when we got home, back into your jammies. For a week this happened, a spanking prior to bedtime. Jack
There are times I will set the timer for 5 plus minutes when I give the Misses a hand spanking. Once it starts it does not stop. She squirms a lot and will have tears in her eyes but It does not end until the time goes off and every inch of her bottom is bright red.
The Misses can drag a paddling out for a long time if I am bent over the end of the bed. She will give me a dozen whacks and then go do something else in the room. It can be several minutes before I get more whacks. The wait is exhilarating. Just as I get over the sting and pain she returns and beats my bottom some more. This can go on for 30 minutes or more and I cannot get up until she says so.
On average, I get 3 spankings 20 or 30 minutes apart - each with maybe 20 whacks lasting 3 minutes or so. Just a guess, I’ve never counted or timed it. Often I’m tied up.
The longest spanking I've ever given was three hours - not very hard, mostly hand, some paddle. Quite enjoyable for us both. Most spankings last about an hour, I think, but that's mostly fun spankings; punishment spankings are shorter and a lot harder.
I don't believe my wife ever timed my spankings but I would guess around 30 minutes. In the moment it was usually long enough but in reality I believe she should have spanked me much longer.

My spankings usually last between an hour and an hour and a half. Sometimes half an hour. An hour and a bit is often ideal, as I do like a certain level of severity and longer spankings would be hard to bear. I have been spanked for longer periods, but there are typically long breaks during the time of this type of play, it is not continuous.

Oddly, Rosa and I don't go by time but rather number, with a target number sort of decreed with the understanding that number might be exceeded a bit or perhaps, though less frequently, lessened as the spanking progresses.
High numbers are not unusual here, (1000+) and often very high numbers are divided up into a series of more manageable installments...... which can be a mixed blessing and curse. The more typical spankings are in the "quick 50" to solid 250-300 range.
Duration is Randy’s decision and he’s all over the map. Time is just one factor in deciding the severity of a spanking. Just a minute or two with a wooden bath brush at top speed and full intensity is far more painful, both during and after, than a steady 30 minute spanking with the leather paddle.
While I don’t get a choice, I do have preferences and they vary over time as well. Sometimes, I just want to take my position and get it over. In other cases, I like the detailed choreography, the build up, and the slow reveal of an inescapable punishment.
As for the longest spanking I’ve received, that depends upon one’s definition of a spanking. He has spanked me several times during a day where each session began where the last one left off (I totally deserved it). It seemed like one spanking to me and if you accept that premise, I guess my longest could span seven or eight hours.

Obviously, I'm an amateur here, but I go by color, not time. When she's a nice pink I stop and proceed with the TLC+. When it's me on the receiving end I'm pretty sure it's the same.
In general it's about time time it take to deliver about (guessing) 250-300 hand spanks.
At top speed (where it hurts a bit more) 300 = 2 1/2 minutes.
At sensual speed 300 = 5 minutes + pauses for TLC.
At "Ain't this fun?" speed = 30-minutes?
I think length does matter, and there are times that, when a spanking is done, I feel like it wasn't quite long enough to leave me feeling like the issue that earned me the trip over her lap was fully dealt with. But, numbness puts a hard limit on most of my spankings. Somewhere around 5 - 6 minutes, my butt starts going numb and, after that, continuing to spank seems pointless. I have come to appreciate, however, the role longer spankings play in leaving soreness that lasts for days. Five to six minutes is probably our average, but the time element is probably less relevant than the number of swats Most of my spankings are with a combination of the bath brush and a heavy ebony hairbrush, with a heavy emphasis on the bath brush. The typical number of swats/strikes per session are around 200 - 300.
Best guess is usually 45 minutes or more, but obviously not continuously. Graham
It does vary quite a bit depending on the circumstances, mood etc. I would say on average 20 minutes.
