It's My Party and I'll Blog if I Want To

My name is Hermione, and today is my birthday. What better way to celebrate than by launching my blog? I have been hesitating to take this step; I was waiting for the right time. Well, as we all know, that magical day in the future when the stars are all perfectly aligned rarely arrives, and this blog was in danger of never seeing the light of day. So because today is yet another reminder that time marches on, I have taken the plunge.

I have studied over the knee at the feet of the best spanking bloggers (thank you, Bonnie, for being my inspiration and my role model) and have decided upon an approach that I think will work for me.

What you won't see here are are explicit pictures, discussions of any team sport, or a description of what I had for breakfast (unless it happens to be a spanking). What you will see are reasonably interesting, hopefully entertaining and possibly informative thoughts and musings related to consensual spanking and its place in my
heart and in my life .

I will be posting regularly, although not every day. Please come back any time, and feel free to leave a comment, even if it's just "Hello".

Now I'm going to count to three and press the Publish button. Wish me luck!

Hi Hermione!

Look at you, blogging like a pro on your very first day. This will be fun, I promise.

Big hugs,

Happy birthday et Bonne Fête, Hermione.

Great to see a fellow Canadian spanko with similar blog tastes and witty writing style take up the blog pen! And it will be easier to read your blog at lunch at work without worrying about someone strolling into my office. The words spanking or bottoms in a title stand out, or maybe that is just my spanko antennae.

Happy birthday Hermione! I'll be checking back to see what you have to say. Good luck on your blogging career. What a good idea to start on your birthday. That way, blogversary spankings will also be birthday spankings.

Too bad about the "no team sports" though, guess I'll have to go to Devlin's blog for my sports news and updates.

Well let's see ... a birthday spanking AND a serious over-the-knee session for impertinent procrastination. You'll be a stand-up blogger in more than one sense, for a time anyhow. *G*

Very pleased to see this, Harmonica!

Hermione,

I knew another girl who was a hard-core spanko (long before we had a word for people like that). And her birthday was March 5th also. But I'm pretty sure it's not you because she moved to the west coast. I think she still lives around Victoria. I'm wondering if people with March birthdays have an unusual level of interest in spanking. Any thoughts?

Pest - Yes, I have had quite a few visitors, thanks to Bonnie.

Devlin - I stand corrected, Sir.
Your rerun of the Potter parody was timely, too.

LDD-4-Me - Thank you for stopping by.

Karl - No, that wasn't me. I live east of the Rockies.
Good question, though. Perhapes it has something to do with the date of conception. And the manner in which...oops! TMI.

Michael - Yes, I did have a fantastic time, considering we had a major ice and snow storm to dig out from.
