Salad Anyone?

We enjoy watching reruns of an American comedy show called Everybody Loves Raymond. In most episodes, whenever a scene takes place in the in-laws' kitchen, I always notice a large salad fork and spoon (aka spanking implements) hanging on the wall. In fact, they were featured in one episode, when it was revealed that they had been a wedding present and had hung on the wall for 40 years.
Recently I saw a very early episode, and immediately realized that the spoon and fork were different. I pointed this out, and from then on we watched for them. Ron finally agreed that they did indeed change over time.
"Who besides you would ever notice that?" he asked me.
"I know lots of people who would have noticed," I replied.
"Oh? Who?" Ron reached for a glass in front of him and took a sip.
"Anyone who thinks of them as spanking implements."
Ron choked and sputtered on his drink.

This site I found will prove that I'm not the only one who enjoyed watching the changing of the implements.

That´s really funny. So you also have this selective preception as I think the most spankees have :) Me too.

Hermione, I'm with you, I noticed the fork and spoon right away for their pervertable possibilities, so my eyes were always drawn to them and noticed subtle changes over the course of the shows. The episode about their origin was hilarious.

Apple - When you have a hammer, everything looks like a nail, and when you're a spanko, everything looks like an implement.

Terps - I never saw the show at all until I watched the final 2 hour farewell. That got me hooked.

Michael - I never realized they changed as much as they actually did.

greenwoman - Thank you.

Hugs,
Hermione

Wow, do you ever have spanking on the mind, and time on your hands, to research this! If the truth be known, I look for spanking implements, like an antique hair brush, whenever in vintage stores.

Mike - I'm always on the lookout for blogging ideas. The research took only a few minutes and a Google search!

Now, that's a true spanko. We can walk into even the most vanilla store, and giggle at the most vanilla things, seeing some kind of spanking potential or reference in them. ;)
