I get the fail on the first couple, the perspective is frat house, not adult relationship (to me). But the last one just made me LOL, so that must have been a WIN for me. :)
Hermione, were you looking for some 'ice cubes', to 'cool' that voluptous bare bottom of your's, after your husband gave you a good spanking? If so thats a 'win, win'.
The term FAIL comes from Failblog.org and is a general way of classifying something that just isn't right, or a situation or picture where something goes wrong, or is inappropriate.
always show admiration for a woman's bottom, so I would consider the first two a win win situation. The last one would only work if he was so inclined... rather a fail..and a reason for never purchasing this product with such a lame presentation. hugs Red
Interesting that your classifications are the opposite of many of the other readers. I agree the third ad is a pretty good reason for staying away from Jantzen.

Thanks Hermione.
I suppose how you decide if it's fail or a win comes from which perspective you have, or which 'end' of the spectrum you're on.
You're very welcome.
True, and someone always disagrees with my decision, but that's life!

I agree it's funny, and a FAIL as an example of advertising in the sixties.
I was going to say your right Hermione all fails but the last one made me laugh as well so it has to be a win.

The last one was so funny!

Good call, Hermione. I think these are FAILs too, although the last one made me grin a bit.
I wonder if anyone bothered to ask which one of the couple the pool boy preferred?

Luv the 2nd cartoon: Mmmm . . . yummies!
BTW, and please forgive my naivite,
but what is a FAIL?
and what is a WIN?
I guess they can be a little of each.
It sure was kinda strange:)
Six, that would always be a WIN!
The FAILs are getting easier to find all the time. I wonder why?
That ad prompts a lot of questions in my mind.

A WIN is just the opposite.

Hmmm . . .
A little bit of editoralising, methinks,
;-)!
