We all know that spanking is beneficial in so many ways: it relieves stress, it erases guilt, it's a great turn-on, and it's just plain fun. Well, science has finally caught up with us.
A study has proven that spanking improves psychological health. People who indulge in spanking (or other BDSM activities) are more
extroverted and open to new experiences, but also less
neurotic, anxious, and paranoid. They are also more secure in their
relationships.
Haven't we known that for a long time? Read about the study here.

Interesting article Hermoine, thank you for sharing. It's great that science is catching up with what we already know, particularly about being more secure in our relationships. It's official, spanking IS good for you! lol

" A study has proven that spanking improves psychological health. People who indulge in spanking (or other BDSM activities) are more extroverted [...]"
Just a point here: being 'extroverted' is not the same thing as being 'psychologically healthy', no matter how much those who display symptoms popularly classified as extroversion may claim otherwise.
Roz - I'm glad the experts agree with us.
Anon - You are quite right. Thank you for pointing that out.
Hugs,
Hermione
Nice to know that science endorses our activities...not that I would give them up even if they did not see the benefit!

Interesting article - not sure it's telling us anything we didn't know from personal experience.
Just sent this to my sister with the tag line - This proves what I've been telling you! I would love to get in on the research.
Yup. We've known it all along!!!
Great article Hermione. Thanks for sharing.
Hugs Lindy
abby - I wouldn't consider it either.
Leigh - Probably not, but it's nice to see our tax dollars spent on something worthwhile.
PK - Oh my! What was her response?
Eva - We sure have. It's great to see you back!
Lindy - It was my pleasure.

Hi Hermione, :) Thank you for bringing this interesting article to our attention! Clearly science is a little behind the eight ball in this matter! We have been privy to this info for quite some time! Aren't we lucky!!! Many hugs,
<3 Katie
Katie - Scientists are pretty slow and cautious, but they eventually figure out the truth.
