Lately I've been keeping up with the latest stories on Over the Desk, and it's amazing how many of them feature slippering as the form of punishment meted out to naughty girls. I've never been slippered, nor have I ever witnessed one (although I'm sure Youtube can fill in that blank for me), so I struggle to imagine the implement used, and how it's handled.
Most descriptions are of a man's "plimsoll" that we call a sneaker.
This looks rather difficult to hold. (I assume you are supposed to hold on at the heel end.) Let's try another style.
This is probably closer to what is intended, but so eye-catching I would probably be distracted and want to try it on and order a pair for myself. But why is it called "slippering"? When I hear "slipper" I think of this:
Much better. I can see this being used in a very effective slippering.
Or this:
But then it would be called "sandalling".
Or this, if you've been really naughty.
Hands up all those who enjoy a good slippering!

My wife used her slipper a few times, it stung, and I mean it really hurt. The times were when the bath brush was not handy. Then again I feel any instrument in a woman's hand to use for spankings would work. Jack
I've always pictured it as a man's leather bedroom slipper - but with the sole something that could be worn outside too.
Of the items you’ve shown, the sandal has an appeal. The others would mostly seem to deliver a thud rather than a slap.
I’m guessing the attraction of slippering is that it was a actual form of punishment - mostly British perhaps.
For me, the various sensations of paddles, whips and switches are all exquisitely intense and deeply satisfying. Best when accompanied by a stern lecture demanding atonement before ensuing sexual contact.

I always assumed it would be a somewhat traditional slipper with a thick all-leather sole. Abel's sp-ing stories had a story about Marrakesh that involved a slipper. I will try to find it.
Don't mind my ladylike language. A comment of mine went to spam recently on Ronnie's blog (again!) so now i'm trying a pg rated version. Doesn't bode well with me. Ah, the adventures in blogland...
Found that story. Enjoy!!

I love a good slippering. As well as the sensation, you get that satisfyingly loud, "Thwack" sound, that adds so much to the experience.

One of my 1st spanking memories concerns a punishment with a plimsoll. I'm so old that when I was at school (in the U.K.) corporal punishment was still permitted. P.E. (Physical Education) teachers were renowned for their delight in using a plimsoll on the bottom of anyone misbehaving. The most attractive girl in my year was called Samantha and she was stunning. She later went on to become one of "Hills Angels" with Benny Hill on the television so that wasn't just my opinion. Anyway she was behaving badly during a gym lesson so the female teacher bent her over the horse in front of the whole class and administered a swift 6 whacks on her behind with her own plimsoll. In those days girls wore very tight red shorts for P.E. so it was almost as if she were being punished on her panties. I sure I wasn't the only boy who had to hide their excitement and arousal and although I'm sure I would have got into spanking anyway that certainly helped.
We did use a sabdal once, very loud, and I think more awkward perhaps to use. I didn't find it as satisfying either as some other implements but yes, very traditional.

Despite what some say, I can't imagine either a sneaker or slipper or any kind being effective on me. I could be wrong, but after all this time experimenting, I think I'm not. (I mean there are those who insist that hand spankings are effective and I've never gotten one as an adult that has done anything except hurt my Tops' hands. LOL.) Nor have any Tops of past or present ever seemed keen on using a slipper. Also, being American, the act of slippering evokes no nostalgic thrill. So on all counts, I think I'll pass on this implement.
There is something about the idea of being struck with footwear that offends my sensibilities. Which, of course, is ridiculous. But I guess it's a cultural thing. The UK loves their slippering.
In the US, spankos are the only ones who know that "slipper" is a verb.
I always thought that the UK slipper, as in to get the, was a smooth leather-soled house slipper, and that the equivalent in the modern world would be a medium-sized leather paddle.
Here in the UK some schools used the slipper for corporal punishment and it was a plimsoll (gym shoe) used.
Love,
Ronnie
