What thoughts are running through this elegant woman's mind? Why does she use the word "involved" to describe herself? Who does she imagine is sitting on the couch reflected in the mirror? What's going to happen next? Is she expecting someone? or has someone just left the room?

Gosh Hermione, you made me realize that, involved, dosen't necessarily mean with someone else. Involved with herself is sort of a Domme thing perhaps. Could also mean she has many options and is self involved making choices. All the above possibilities involve and demand a direct male approach from an available volunteer to prepare to ask her out. Gulp.
Look more closely at the "reflection" in the mirror. Nothing about her in it matches the stiff formal person standing on this side: The dress, while the same color, is like her pose, relaxed, open, free; her hair style suggests play; and her expression indicates she's looking forward to something enjoyable. Insofar as the image is out of position for a reflection, I'd say the "mirror" isn't a mirror at all, but a window into another, very relaxed world all her own.
Actually I'm wondering who is bent over that couch, while she lectures him, in a cool measured way, about his many offenses. The imagery of that photo is great, she looks so toppy.

All three of you have wonderful opinions of what's going on. She really is dommish, isn't she? I really want to see more of that sofa too, and whatever else is in her alternate universe.

IF it was Meow or yourself, she is probably thinking of the last time her partner had her bare bottom over his knee while sitting on the couch.

What is on her mind, is that the man of her dreams is coming in the next few minutes, that is going to take her over his knees, raise her dress waist high, pull down her panties, and warm her bare bottom bright red with his hand.
