Long Live our Noble Queen

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II celebrates 70 years on the throne. I am proud to have her as our monarch.

My all-time favourite anthem, Handel's Corontion Anthem, was performed at her coronation. Please enjoy it with me.

God Save the Queen!

I remember seeing her coronation on TV. Sometime later, my grandmother sent me a model of the carriage. Elizabeth has done well for England and the world.

As an American, I'm fascinated with the Royals. Overall, I think the Queen has been admirable. (Less so Charles and how he handled his marriage to Diana, his brother's affiliation with Jeffrey Epstein, etc.)
This fascination extends to depictions, movies & TV, such as "The Queen" & "The Crown."
I hope she stays health for 2 more years to become the longest world reigning monarch, over Louis 14th. I believe that she's already the United Kingdom's longest.
Do you ever imagine what life must be like as her? I'm kind of a Walter Mitty that way...
Thanks for posting this!
Warmly,
Jean Marie

It's interesting to see the viewpoint from Canada, I forgot that HRH Liz2 is head of state in other countries. It's a big event in the U.K. and I am missing it because I am in France.

Long live the Queen! I just adore her and 70 years is remarkable. We celebrate Queen's Birthday here this weekend so it's a long one for us. The jubilee beacon it lit and landmarks were lit up in royal colours last night.

Hugs
Roz

A lot of people don't like our Royals but our Queen has enormous respect from all over the world. It was so lovely to see her with family on the balcony.

Love,
Ronnie
