After reading my Music of the Spheres post (thank you, Chross) Pim, a regular visitor, sent me this video clip. He said my description of our percussive spanking reminded him of this "body concert". The title Bunda Pandeiro is a Brazilian slang term used to describe attractive buttocks by referring to them as an ass tambourine.

Guess the Implement - Not!

Today's Mystery Implement is a bit different than usual. I found it in a thrift shop, and it really looks like a handmade wooden paddle. But do you think there might have been another use for it? I can't decide. Perhaps it was intended to have a picture glued to one side of it. Or maybe some teenaged boy made it in shop class to paddle his girlfriend with.

Do you think it had a vanilla purpose? If so, what?

When I found this little gem, my first thought was how exciting it would be to show it to Ron when I got home. Then I remembered that I was with a vanilla friend. How would I explain my purchase to her if she saw me carrying it to the checkout? What would I tell her I was going to use it for? 

What do you think I should have told my shopping companion?

Last year we went to see Bob Dylan in concert. Neither of us has ever been a big fan of his, but - as the newspapers reminded us - it was a chance to see an icon.

The experience was memorable, and not in a good way. We were prepared for him to be a little difficult to understand, and some of his words did sound remarkably similar to the title of this post.

But one of his early videos inspired me to put together this subtle hint for Ron. Sometimes saying it in writing is better than talking.

Or in Dylan's case, better than singing.
