The latest scientific study related to pain suggests that swearing after an injury eases the sting. There seems to be a link between bad language and an increase in tolerance to pain.
So it is perfectly justifiable to swear at your top while you are being spanked. It increases your tolerance so you are able to stand the increased attack on your bottom that the swearing will inevitably provoke.
Sounds like a vicious circle to me. Vicious, but fun!

I thought I was mumbling the swear words, but I found out that apparently I am not.
I have even tried replacing the words with non-swear words - but figaro and ship just do not appear to have the same results.
And apparently replacing the swear words do not make them less than an offense??
I give up. (GRIN)

Methinks that while being spanked,one is best to be agreeable with the spanker's wishes. That is a policy that I have learned to follow. Definitely a death wish to use foul language at the spanker.

I get away with the swearwords as long as he feels they are not said in an angry tone/directed at him...so "oh, sh** or f*@& that hurt..!" is in most cases, accepted as confirmation that he is doing a good job, while "OWW, you bas*@*d!" incurs further hard stings!! xxx
