Parents Never Do THAT
Recently we watched a comedy called Click. Michael (Adam Sandler) is a workaholic architect, who has been overlooking his family in favor of his career. He meets Morty, (Christopher Walken) a mysterious man who gives him a universal remote that allows Michael to perform TiVo-like functions on his life, such as pausing events or fast-forwarding over them.
In one scene, Michael rewinds to the moment of his conception. The pair stand in a bedroom with vibrant 60s decor while the blankets on the bed pulsate, and a woman's voice says, "That's the spot!" It is quickly followed by a man's voice saying "Whack my heinie," and the sounds of slapping continue while Morty explains that these are his parents, in the act of conceiving him.
"Change the channel!" shouts Michael.
It's a double shock. Finding out his parents actually had sex and watching them at it, plus the revelation that they enjoy spanking.

Hmmmm... don't you wonder which would really traumatize kids more?
PK
It is so true, even adult children dislike any talk of that nature. Can you imagine if they found out we were spankos? LOL.
never let the kids know the real things we do... Best they be naive! However, once they have moved out, it is a bit unfortunate if they call while you are having fun... :)

Hubby and I have playtime any chance we get since Dd... I know grownups all around the world do it... and often. I, for one, am one of those adult children that are convinced that my parents have only done the nasty 4 times (I have 3 siblings)LOL
I know my parents are not spankos... be cause my mom needs one too badly! LOL
Years ago I walked in on my parents doing the deed...at the time I didn't understand what was going on, but now that I'm a just a wee bit wiser, lol, I realize what was going on!
My mom:"J, Kitty's in the room!"
My dad:"Oh, sh..!"
Me: I threw up all over the floor.(luckily for them they had hardwood oak floors instead of carpet).

Oh, YUK. Thats just sick.
I mean, who, in Heaven's name, would rewind events to their own conception?? AND not realise what they were going to see???? Why would they WANT to see that?
Did they seriously think their mother was the virgin Mary?

Hi Hermione
I always thought that scene was a total hoot. I mean The Fonz getting smacked to start him up.
Emanuele
"shudder' I dont even want to think about it thank you :) hehehe we know they did it but we dont want to think about it lol
I don't want to think about what my parents do behind closed doors and I'm sure they feel the same way. Lol. That is a funny movie though. Some people actually cried in the theater in certain parts, surprising emotion for an Adam Sandler flick.
I can image it might have been a funny scene but I wonder why he wanted to rewind it to the moment of his conception.
Love,
Ronnie

PK - Good question. Either one, I guess.
Joey - OMG it doesn't bare thinking about!
Red - Yes, and they seem to have a knack for knowing when it's inconvenient to come to the phone.
Mikki - I's funny how we think it's okay for us to "do it" but not our parents. Go figure!
Kitty - Oops! Knock before entering should be an unbreakable rule in every home.
Daisy - Well, it was rather a lame show. Ron actually stopped watching before the end; it got too unbelievable. I agree. Who would want to?
Emanuele - Yes, I forgot to mention that character was Henry Winkler.
Kiwi - Best put it out of your mind.
Lea - It was quite sad at times, odd as you say for Adam Sandler.
Ronnie - It was Morty's idea, to show him how powerful the universal remote was. (Spoiler alert: Morty was the Angel of Death.)
Hugs,
Hermione
