Many of us spend most of our waking hours in office cubes, slaving away over a hot keyboard.
Working at a help desk can be so frustrating at times.
Why can't I speak to a person when I place a call for help?
But the customer is always right—right?
Damned if I know.
Sometimes it all becomes too much, like it did for this employee. Quit like a boss!

Hi Hermione, great fails, 'the customer is always right' is my absolute favourite, as I can observe that occasionally in shops. It's so useless, but the reply is awesome. Thank you for these and I also hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Oh my goodness, very funny! I worked in a technical support team for 18 months... Yes, I know the exact time because it took me that long to get OUT! :0) We actually had a team call about an application going down every night at the same time without any logs showing errors mind you. Myself and another team member decided to camp out and watch the server for this application after months of not being able to figure out the cause.. We watched the cleaning crew walk right in and unplug the server to vacuum and then plug it in and walk away at the exact time the fail always happened... One sticky note later (for the cleaning crew in english and spanish) and a really MAD boss, problem solved and I knew this was NOT my line of work to stick with. :0) Have a great weekend!

Ha! The cereal looks like something I'd do. I LOATHED working for the public -- and good gawd, no, the customer isn't always right. :-)
Love the cerial boxes. Yes it bugs me. I am the customer who would stand there and fix it.
