No Shortage Now

Sometimes I miss being able to go to the mall and browse the clothing stores. Not that I need any new clothes, since I'm stuck inside the house most days, but still.... A month ago, when I was in the supermarket, I decided to check out the clothing line there. I never had before, but it was the only safe place to shop for clothes. I picked up two camisoles at a very reasonable price, and was very happy with them. They fit well, were well made, and satisfied my wish for something new.

On my next shopping trip I planned to include more clothes, but that was after the latest lockdown. Clothing and other goods that were considered non-essential were out of bounds in all stores that also carried food. The clothing area was blocked off by a wall of toilet paper.

Sigh! Whatever happened to the toilet paper shortage? There was enough here to fill a small gymnasium. I had to give up on my quest and resort, once more, to online shopping for any new apparel.

Now come with me as we stroll through the food aisles.

Stay safe!

LOL at the shopping aisles ! why oh why can't I spot something like that on my one trip out per week - it would make grocery shopping so much more interesting.

I can't believe the toilet paper rolls blocking off clothing Hermione!! We have a large grocery store (Independent or Loblaws) and though they don't have clothes they do have toys and make up and those aisles aren't blocked off. I agree with you on the browsing aspect ... never thought I was a 'browser' until I couldn't browse ... now I am missing it!!

I just read online today that toilet paper may be in short supply later this year, so grab all you can now for those future needs.

I agree with morningstar that I never see grocery store labels like that.

I agree with your criticism of the abbreviation for "Assorted" It's a scandal to leave out an apostrophe like that

This made me laugh out loud! Particularly "Ass. Fudge." :-D

I have not purchased an article of new clothing since February 2020, not so much as a pair of socks. Of course, I've had no reason to. That will change soon!
