Google has changed its mind regarding porn and sexually explicit images on blogs.
Read it here: https://productforums.google.com/forum/?hl=en&pli=1#!category-topic/blogger/jAep2mLabQY
I think this was due to the large number of queries on the Blogger Help Forum regarding specifics, like artistic drawings, erotic stories, and of course, bare bottom spanking. The Google rule-setters realized that they had been far too vague in their statement. It is entirely possible that they may come out with something more specific at a later date, but for now, we're safe!
Spread the word!

Thank goodness that's over with!
Getting suspicious… is this for real! If it is I am happy. The good thing is when I read the were about to change policy, it inspired me to write a series of articles.
thanks for sharing
well not that I publish a whole lot of explicit pictures anymore (got old fast) I am glad Google isn't going to stifle every day run of the mill adult pictures.......
You would think they would have thought this through before 'upsetting everyone.'
FRIDAY FAIL
Well, this is a FRIDAY WIN for GOOGLE, as they got it right...That which is one person's PORN, is another person's cup of tea. Many would believe adult consensual spanking as PORN.
A nude body is wonderful, making love is wonderful, pictures of this are wonderful.
thank you Hermione, for letting everyone know.
You deserve a good spanking today for your good work, and you can now even post a photo of your red bottom to prove you have been deliciously spanked. (smiling)

Hi Hermione, thank goodness, I don't want to lose my friends!!
love Jan,xx
Yes, for now it's all ok. But, folks, this could turn on a dime. What this has taught me is that the existence of our type of content is fragile, subject to whim and caprice and it could change without warning.
Rollin could be right but for now it really is great news.
Thank you Hermione for keeping us informed. Really appreciate it.
Love,
Ronnie

That's wonderful news, thank goodness! Thank you for letting us know Hermoine.

I don't have any explicit content on my blog but this did make me stop and think about what was posted. I understand the need to keep the 'net safe of images around children etc., but most of us don't qualify for this type of censorship. It's good to see that they listened to all the feedback that people took time to share. Thanks Hermione for updating us! :D
Misty - For now, at least.
ara - Yes, it's true.
morningstar - I'm glad too. I wouldn't miss the more explicit ones, though.
Leigh - Yes, you certainly would. Maybe they didn't realize just how many "adult" bloggers there were out there.
Red - You're right. Ron considers spanking blogs porn, while I don't. There's no clear-cut distinction.
I'll see about the spanking, but can't promise there will be a picture.
Jan - Neither do I.
Rollin - True, they may come back with a more specific definition.
Ronnie - I wrote the post the instant I found out. Hot off the press!
Roz - It was a real pleasure to do so.
Christina - It was a rare occurrence, but they really DID listen this time!
Hugs,
Hermione
Hi Hermione, thank you for the update. I am glad that they have taken it back for now and maybe they will be more specific when they try the next time.

Hi: if Ron thinks a spanking blog is porn, so as I live and dream in technicolor (which tells you how old I am to use such a phrase),it is time for a photo of your paddled bare bottom, or see through panties, as proof that you are spanked.
How is that for a DARE!!!!!

Hermione-
Thanks for spreading the word. I saw it in the thumbnails of blogs we follow and immediately dialed into your post. And I've posted it on our blog, hoping to inform anyone who may not yet have seen it.
So we're back to posting photos of my lovely Cora spanking my bottom. I guess the images of my ugly rear may be offensive but at least we can still post! And yes, we'll keep tuned in just in case it changes again.
And Hermione, thanks for the leadership role you take in such things.

Yay! Thanks for posting the good news, Hermione. It means a lot!
Thanks so much for the good news, Hermione (heaven forbid Google email us about changing their minds), and for all you do for us spanking bloggers.
I honestly wasn't shocked (sadly) by Google's censorship plans, but I WAS genuinely surprised that they've actually listened for once to what people (their customers, because after all, WE are the ones who decide if we use Google, Android, Chrome, or anything else) were saying and changed their minds!
Yes, likely it's just "for now", but it's still a "win" for today. :)
Thanks again!
I got home from holiday to find this new policy from Google on my computer.
What I want to know is how does anyone define porn? I see it as something 'nasty' and probably unconsensual. How can a picture of a beautiful nude, a pretty spanked bottom, or a woman in diaphanous underwear qualify any more than portraits of naked ladies in an art exhibition.
I should just HATE to lose my friends here in blogland, and hope that if they do change their minds they will itemise what they consider as porn!
Thanks for this post, Hermione!

Nina - I hope Google has learned its lesson :)
Red - It's an impressive dare, but I doubt it will happen. Ron would have to take the picture, and he is clueless when it comes to taking digital pictures.
Ken - I do all I can to help our community. Thanks for your assistance in helping to get the word out to everyone.
Cutiebootie - I was happy to do it.
Banjo - I too was surprised that they listened. I hope that continues to be the case.
Ami - Porn (or not) is in the eye of the beholder.
Hugs,
Hermione
Hermione: imagine the fun... Ron spanks you, takes a picture of your bottom, picture is done wrong, you explain how to do it correctly! Ron has to give you a bit more or another spanking to keep your bottom RED. Then he makes his second attempt at taking a picture.
This could continue for an hour or more.
Sounds like the eternal WIN WIN to me!

ROFLMAO! I love it!
Happy they 'reversed' themselves. Think the original decision was in reaction to all that is going on in congress regarding the internet. Have to wonder if part of the reversal was due to the number of people researching and talking about switching to WordPress. Just happy it's over with for now.
Hugs and Blessings...
