Would you allow an image of yourself to appear in a relationship simulation AI app?
Graham: Count us out!!
Wendel: Nope. Not even if the AI app image made us look fit.
Bonnie: I'll say a definite maybe. I'm a little bit intrigued, but I would
never want virtual me to be used for porn scenes, humiliated, or
portrayed as a victim of abuse. Nor would I want her to be identifiable
as me.
But if she were presented as a consensual recipient of
corporal punishment and/or loving spankings with realistic responses,
that might be all right. I like the idea of presenting a positive role
model for people who share this interest.
Roz: Very interesting question. I don't think it would be for me.
Ronnie: Pref, good question. No, not for me.
Prefectdt: Looking at myself, in photos from family weddings, when I am all suited
and booted, I do (at least visually) give a good representation of a
strict, Headmasterly type of guy. I think that if my aim was to make
some money from the project, as a Top to naughty adult boys and girls
would give me the best chance of getting the tills ringing. They would
be buying my image, not my personality, after all. However, as there are
those one in a hundred thousand people who cannot separate what they
see on a screen from reality, I think that I would have to insist that
the sale of my image be restricted to the continents of North and South
America. Several thousands of Kilometres away.
As myself between
18 and 25 years old, I might get some interest from a few strict Mommy
and Daddy types, who needed some cyber boy butt to keep in line. And I
do not look anything like I did back then, so worldwide use would not be
a problem. Looking at the competition that I would be up against, I do
not think that this image of me would be very popular, as a bottom. It
would be interesting to see if there were any takers, though.
Thank you for using my question, Hermione.
Jack: No, No, and No.
Anon: No to AI but idea of a spanking machine still fascinates us.
A.J.: Not a chance!!!!!! (Extra "!!" for emphasis.)
Just
another portal into your life, privacy, and your wallet. I got a call a
couple days ago from my bank asking if I just spent $350 in a
restaurant - in Australia - and another $500 minutes later at a place in Ohio.
You give up anything to a still-new technology like AI - you're fair game.
Barrel: If the image could be tweaked just enough to be close to me but not me…maaaaybe. I do like Bonnie’s thought to be a bit more out there in our realm, but not far enough to be attacked, scammed or held hostage.
S: I have one of those faces that is pretty generic, everyone is always telling me that they know someone who looks exactly like me, so I would not have a problem having my likeness on the site. Of course, I would still take the money. I would be a switch.
Hermione: It's an interesting thought, but my face isn't appealing enough to be featured in an app. The faces of other people, specifically those I have had less than pleasant encounters with, might be an option. Then they would be on the receiving end of my disciplinary skills.
Thank you so much, Prefectdt, for giving us such a thought-provoking question.

I am amazed at how many people were against being part of the AI revolution. Even when it could mean making some dosh.
Prefectdt
I have had some homeowner issues that kept me offline, and so I'm late to the party.....BUT, while my feelings towards AI are quite negative, my response to the question posed would be based entirely on the answer to THIS question: "how much would they be paying me?"
