Recap: Spanko Brunch 2.0 for October 9

Happy Thanksgiving Day to all my Canadian readers! This week we talked about our latest implement acquisitions, and here they are:

sam: Our newest addition is a small wooden cutting board. When i was in junior high, I made it for my Mom. My wife was visiting my Mom last month and commented of the cutting board. My Mom insisted that my wife take it home. It stands now on the sideboard of our kitchen. We dont use it to cut bread. It is used however weekly by my wife, for our discipline session. Ah if Mom only knew how proud she would be!

Roz: Our most recent addition (a while ago now) was a flogger. Unfortunately it is now broken lol.

Sir Wendel: I bought a set of wooden spoons and the misses picked up another belt.

Michael M: The most recent item purchased is a serious cane from Quality Control. Not at all whippy and it bends into only a slight curve.It's use is supposed to bring me into line with a proper punishment session. It has not had an outing as yet. I am nervously looking forward to receiving a thrashing.

Leigh: A snappy little fly swatter, a handmade wooden paddle and a silicone spatula with hearts - all gifts compliments of my 'friends' on our recent visit to Florida. With friends like this, I have no need of buying any new implements with friends around.

Wilma: Honestly we have TOO many implements~ though a rattan cane broke and thankfully has not been replaced yet. I think the last implement Barney bought was a quirt last year at a Saddlery Store. It has its moments. Depending on his mood it can cause quite a sting, especially if it wraps around to my hip, which it often does. Mostly though I am used to it, so he goes back to his old standbys, the lexan cane and rubber paddle. I can't seem to 'get used' to those!

Ronnie: Recently I was given 3 wooden spoons and a silicone one. The silicone spoon we haven't tried yet. Of the three wooden spoons P likes the long handle one and has decided it's definitely a keeper. Me, I hate it.

Yorkie: The most recent implement I bought was a long-handled bath brush as I have always wanted to try one. Most of the time it's used in the shower for scrubbing my back but we've used it on our wedding anniversary weekend away. I must say I found it to be absolutely divine. I love my wooden implements. :) Had a sore bottom for a few days. My wife is quite the spanker.

Hermione: Our two latest implements both arrived at the same time. One is a black leather paddle shaped like a hand. It is quite a mild implement and fun for a warmup. the other is a leather fly swatter. I didn't  realize it when I ordered it, but the leather flapper has smooth  round metal studs embedded in it. They are for weight, I assume, but they make an innocent fly swatter look rather formidable so we haven't tried it yet.

It's the weekend, and that means it's time for our regularly scheduled spanko brunch. Some spankos have many and some have only a few. Some enjoy variety while others prefer a few tried and true. What am I talking about? Why, implements, of course. A hand spanking is one way to get the job done, but we all have an implement or two (or twenty) tucked away in our toy boxes. I think it's always fun to try something new, and that brings us to today's topic.

Have you visited The Disciplined Husbands Forum - User Stories lately? Dan's blog is chock full of spanking stories that you shouldn't miss if you are a fan of F/M spanking. The best part is, these stories were all written by his readers. This story by Matt caught my eye and I want you to enjoy it too. I hope that, like me, you will find it very hot! Here's how it starts:

Jeff kept replaying the incident at Target over and over in his mind. He wasn't sure why he snapped at his wife Karen over the decision to buy organic peanut butter versus their usual Jiffy brand purchase. He was the one who ate the majority of peanut butter in the house - so he should have the final say on the matter.

But with his nose pressed in the corner of their master bedroom, Jeff was reminded who did have the final say. It was Karen. And since they had the house to themselves - kids were off to the movies for the afternoon - Karen wanted to make an immediate impression to correct Jeff's behavior. On the way home from their shopping trip, Karen explained to Jeff that his outburst was uncalled for and needed to be dealt with. And in the Harrington household, that meant Jeff could find himself draped over Karen's lap on the receiving end of a spanking. A position he found himself routinely during his childhood at the hands of his mother. And a position that Karen took very seriously since she took the reins in her relationship with Jeff.

It started innocently enough - almost 20 years ago - when Jeff and Karen began dating.

What is your favourite position for a spanking?

abby: For me, it depends on what Master is using. My favorite His hand...over His lap, I turn to jello with a wonderful long hand spanking.

kdpierre: We use a very simple over-her-lap while Rosa is reclining against the pillows and headboard of our bed. It raises my butt, is fairly comfortable for us both, and still affords nice lap-to-lap contact.

Anon 1: I still think OTK is my favorite for spanking my wife. I use other positions, but nothing beats OTK.

Roz: Nothing better than otk. My next would be over the bed.

Jack: My favorite position is with my wife over my lap. My second favorite position is with her bent over - the bathroom counter works as it is the right height. Both of the positions are submissive positions, but I really enjoy the contact in the over-my-lap position.

Dr. Ken: I imagine my favorite is the one that will undoubtedly prove to be the #1 answer from everybody--having a lady OTK or over my lap, whether I'm sitting on a chair, sofa or bed. It puts her bottom at just the right angle and position and within easy reach of my right hand.

arched one: The favorite seems to be OTK because of the close contact. But as the one presenting the bottom for spanking the position is up to her. She does like OTK when she's sitting on the sofa but she says can only comfortably use her hand in that position and she loves using implements. So her favorite is with me on the bed or bent over the bed. she gets a better swing with the belt, strop, paddle and other implements.

Simon: I'm not sure I have a favourite position I'm just grateful that I'm being spanked or punished and I like a bit of variety. OTK is great but I find it gets uncomfortable unless you are over the knee whilst lying flat on a sofa or bed. I'm quite proud of the fact that I can still touch my toes for the cane although these days getting back up is becoming problematic. There are so many positions why limit yourself or her to just one. Experiment with some of the positions you may have only seen in pictures, who knows you may find a new one that you really enjoy.

Leigh: My favorite is still across his knee but with my upper body supported. I can't take my head hanging down.

Michael M: Favourite #1 is on the bed, over a pillow, for the strap and #2 is knees on a chair and bent over the back with hands on the mattress, for the riding crop, which is also used between parted thighs on my bits as well as across my bottom.

Ronnie: My favourite is OTK (with upper body and head supported) I'd choose that position every time if I could.

Anon 2: My favorite position right now is any position that results in being spanked on a more regular basis.

Sir Wendel: My favorite is to have her across my lap. I enjoy being bent over the end of the bed.

Yorkie: Always across her lap while she is sat on our bed leaning against the headboard. I love the intimacy of it.

Hermione: The thought or sight of an OTK spanking never fails to excite me, but the reality is somewhat different. I don't like my head to hang down, and the pressure on my abdomen is rather uncomfortable. Ron has never chosen that position, although we sometimes do over the lap on a sofa or bed. We usually agree on having me bent over the end of the bed.
