Read at Work

If you get bored at work and want to escape into a novel for a while, http://readatwork.com/ is just what you've been looking for.

The site displays what looks like a Windows XP startup screen. Click, and you'll find yourself looking at a fake desktop with folders containing different types of reading material. Each book, story or poem looks like a Powerpoint presentation, so you can read at your desk and no one will be any the wiser.
There are no spanking stories or pictures--I checked--but it's still worth a visit.

Cool. Although I don't have a job or anyone looking over my shoulder.... I know maybe I could fool my folks... yeah that might work. Oh I got a better idea.. back row of church.. no one will notice.
Thanks Hermione, your a life saver.
Hugs, Jay

Oh dear yes! Think of what can be done with this site by a proper brat. Sir glances over my shoulder to make sure I'm doing my homework, and how could there be any doubt? Baby's clearly not blog surfing!

Genius!

Oh my goodness that is the strangest thing I have ever seen. It was especially weird firing it up on my Mac which doesn't use Windows!

The only thing about this is at work they have 'special' company backgrounds so the lovely clouds and hills is never displayed, plus with a 17 inch monitor it's easy for others to see what is displayed.

Damn, there's no help for it, I shall just have to keep working. Thanks for the info though...grins.

Hugs
Mina

Jay - Naughty girl! Bringing your laptop to church indeed.

Andrades - Welcome! I hope you enjoy the site.

Girl - Sounds like you'll make good use of it.

Mina - Sorry you can't goof off at work. I tried!

Hugs,
Hermione
