I bought some Terry's chocolate oranges today. They aren't a Christmas tradition in our house yet, but I'm trying to make it so. They are solid balls of orange-flavoured chocolate that separate into slices with a little effort on the eater's part.
As you can see, the label on top of the foil-wrapped chocolate says, "Whack & Unwrap". Isn't that backward? Usually a spanking starts with "unwrap" followed by "whack".
Oh well, better than "tap and unwrap". Yes, it rhymes, but it just doesn't have a spanko ring to it. Because all labels on goods sold in Canada must be in both French and English, the French version is "le gout qui vaut le coup". Loosely translated, that means "the taste is worth the swat".
Ya think?

Oohhhh, orange chocolate, I looove orange chocolate it is my favourite sweety thing though I think these things need a bit more than a 'tap', the ones I have had needed more of a 'smash'.
I went into a chocolate shop here in Oz and they had a giant one of these things. I gasped when I saw it and the lady thought I was having some sort of respiratory trouble until she realised what I was staring at.
Oh my gosh! I saw these advertised and never gave it a thought. Now I'll have to get one for Hubby's stocking. Hermione, you are treasure. And the French phrase adds a bit of interest. :)
Hermione, I haven't bought a chocolate orange in years. I love them, I mite have to buy a few for the holidays! I guess you must pay very close attention to your chocolate to notice the directions! I had to look at the pictures 3 times to follow this post!!! I wonder if my husband would notice, I will have to shop very carefully in the stores to see if I can find the "whacking" ones as always Thanks for sharing Andrades
Hermione, we loved Terry's dark chocolate orange. We always thought that it was a very spanko experience. For each segment Mel and I ate, Mel got a spank and for the core she got six, by which time we were both ready for what followed. As a diabetic I may no longer enjoy them, perhaps my sub and I can come to an arrangement. Warm hugs, Paul.
Hermione: another great find... worth putting in your loved ones Christmas stocking.Expect Ron to follow through with the suggestion Christmas morning. Mike

I prefer the dark choc ones though.
Oooh, dark chocolate! And a swat at the same time! It doesn't get much better than that!
Hugs,
Tiggs

Mina - I'd love a giant one! It would need a real smack.
Jay - I like the dark ones, and Ron prefers light, so I bought one of each.
Tiggs - Chocolate and spanking. Or is that spanking and chocolate? Heaven either way!
K - They make great stocking stuffers.
Andrades - I don't think the store would take kindly to you opening all the boxes. You might get spanked for that!
Hugs,
Hermione

My wife loves to eat these, but they make her sick - so I give her a whack for each slice she has. It cuts down on her stomach aches.
mmm, chocolate oranges are so good!
Remember, chocolate helps u think and if it's orange that's vitamin C
