Any doctor will tell you, that the best medicine, for a happy life style in marriage, is a good spanking on the bare bottom, administered by your husband. Such spanking medicine, the doctor, recommends to be taken twice a day. Even more if need be, as one gets older.
Glad you are not really ill! But, hey, any of us would PRETEND to be, if we thought that would be our cure.... you're going to start an epidemic of fake sickness.... acute spankitis....xxxxxxxxxx
If Ron is out of town, I would be happy to act as his replacement... Definitely a cure for just about everything that ails you. Hope you are feeling well soon. hugs Red
Feel better, Hermione, and like Erica says, love the Groucho Marx allusion with Dr. Hugo Z. Hackenbush from 'A Day at the Races.' Loved the Marx Brothers growing up and still do. In that movie there is a wonderful one-smacker Harpo gives to a naughty woman with a big wallpaper paste brush. It gave this budding spanko a tingle when he was still trying to figure things out. It can be seen here in the film's trailer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YVKSEK8y2c
Hermoine, did anyone look at the date of that prescription. April 1st, 2011 {April Fool's Day}. You pulled a fast one on us all. This alone should make you worthy of 'six of the best', six of the very best Hermoine, with my pliable stinging cane on your voluptous bare bottom.
....you appear to know a pretty good Doctor there H!!
I expect their are a number of ladies out there who would like to visit such a creative GP.
Where would you get such a medical practitioner? ...one who treats acute and chronic illnesses and provides preventive care and health/sex education.....with the use of a paddle :)

The diversity of your posts continues to amaze me.
I could use a referral! Feel better soon!

In case you want a second opinion---I concur.
Loved this, hope you feel better soon!
Just what the doctor ordered. I wish my doctor handed out prescriptions like this that:)
Sending you a little sunshine to brighten your day. Hope your feeling better soon.
Love,
Ronnie

To be taken twice a day for two weeks?
I would say get well soon but I am hoping that you are just pretending to be sick, for the purposes of this post.

As a dedicated Marxophile, I recognize the name Hugo Z. Hackenbush! (Or "Hacken-a-puss" as Chico pronounced it.)
I like that prescription. Much better than antibiotics.
There's certainly a lot of weather to be under, and I hope the prescription from wise old Dr. Hackenbush works wonders!
Love,
Quincy Waggentail
That's quite the prescription but there should be refills, many refills. You have to take your medicine if you want to get better.
Bogie - Creativity keeps me young.
Abby - Just tell him Hermione sent you.
6otb - More than twice a day? Ouch!
Paul - I feel much better now, knowing I've consulted an expert.
Raven - Once I get this prescription filled I will.
Ronnie - I wish my real doctor would too.
Prefectdt - You guessed it; I'm pretending. Guess I deserve a spanking for that.
Erica - Oh, I didn't know where the name came from. I learned something today!
Dave - Yes, large piles of weather remnants all over the place.
Emanuele - Welcome! I forgot to ask how many repeats I could have. Thanks for the reminder.
Hugs,
Hermione

Ha! Yup, that was Groucho's character's name in the film "A Day At the Races." He played the head of a sanitorium.
So sorry to hear that you are not well. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.

Kady

Daisy - Is there a vaccine for it, do you think?
Erica - Now I have to watch that film.
Burl - As I told the others, I was only pretending to be sick.
Red - Thanks for the kind offer to be Ron's backup.
Turiya - You can print mine.
Kady - You wouldn't want to be too sick to enjoy the treatment.
Michael - Thanks. I will watch that clip first, and then the whole movie.
6otb - You noticed! Bravo! I thought I'd save it, but I couldn't wait till April to post it.
Hugs,
Hermione
OOOOOOOOOOoooooooo thankees. I actually noticed the date too, but it didn't even occur to me that it was April Fools day. LOL
Hermione, well done on having this post Chrossed. Excellent. :)
turiya - I'm gald it didn't fo unnoticed.
Michael - Thank you. I wondered why my stats were so high for a Thursday.

Also adding my congratulations on your clever creation getting Chrossed!
BTW (Web abbreviations! Wolfie's hip!!) you'll enjoy the Marx Bros tremendously! My favorites tend to be "Animal Crackers" and "Horse Feathers!"

I wonder if this sort of treatment will be covered under our new health care law? Surely no one would object to that...?
