Is bare bottom a fabric?... :) For spankings with heavier implements (like a wood paddle) Jeans are pretty nice, especially if you like thud. Same is true with Spandex and such when it comes to lighter implements (like leather belts).
In my humble opinion Hermione. What ever these naughty beauties wear. They would not wear them for long. For pulling them down and spanking their delectable bare bottoms, would be such a pleasureable task.
Tight denim can look very sexy (I'm partial to denim 'cutoff' short-shorts, most of all), but as a child of the 80's, I just have to go with spandex here! :D
This post has certainly gotten quite a bit of attention based upon the number of comments. I think it 'underlines' how much attention a Feminine Derriere is able to capture. I for one love a tightly packed pair of jeans but its very much improved if the lady is wearing some kind of foundation underneath. For us old-time perverts, there is nothing like a panty girdle underneath, especially if the 'garter bumps' show a little.
I know Dave loves me in denim. I have a problem wearing spandex, or anything stretchy, except at the gym, because there was a time when I had a difficult time wearing Jeans and the stretchy stuff was what I had to wear. I really don't want to go back to that so it's a mental thing for me concerning stretch pants.
I go for the combination of denim and spandex, which I think the first photo is of. Denim, by itself, is a heavy twill fabric, would not be able to contour itself to the ups and downs of its protective function. Spandex, on the other hand, is like a second skin, and that's OK, because it preserves and protects modesty. But it leaves nothing to the (viewer's) imagination. Whereas a constricting fabric emphasizes the expansive nature of its protectorate. If I may borrow from the Bard, "See how she leans her cheek upon her hand! "O that I were a glove upon that hand, "That I might touch that cheek!" Sigh . . .
Wins all around! If I had to choose I would go with Yoga pants (which may very well be made of some spandex although I think of spandex as a totally different material than yoga pants...sorry I am rambling again). Interesting to see how popular this simple topic is ;)
They were both great. But I have a sneaky suspicion the actual bottom inside makes the difference!! Because my bum would turn people off jeans AND spandex!!!! xxx

My vote is definitely for spandex, just shows the complete shape of the bum.
Denim's OK, but personally I love my spandex.
Hermione,
All of them are wins, but I choose denim.
Hug,

Denim. I associate spandex with rather large walmartians. :/
I go for denim. LL Bean has sold jeans with 5% Lycra for years. I think they fit really good.
I vote for the spandex but all the pictures look great.
Denim for me. Thought I do love the knitted ones. Imagine wearing those after a spanking.
Love,
Ronnie

all are winners in my book
Happy spankings

I agree completely:)
It sure does!
they both have their merits and uses.
Interesting. Denim it is!
Now that you mention it...
That's the type of jeans I like best too.
I agree, they're all winners.
Ooh, yes. I must find a pattern and my knitting needles.
No, bare isn't an option here:)
Both fabrics have their merits.
I like the denim the best, but for comfort, it's spandex!
Love,
Kitty
P.S. You do keep it creative around here, Hermione:)!

Thanks, Kitty. I do my best:)
Truer words were never spoken.
As a child of the sixties, denim rules!
I just can't decide how to get to the bottom of this question.

Great (attention getting) post!

I vote for denim but I much preferred the high on the hip jeans of the 80s than what we have now. Whatever happened to VPLs?

Damn, thats a really hard decision. They both are quite nice. Galway

Look down, then back up.
It is eye-catching, isn't it? I know you are a fan of garter bumps - something we used to work hard to conceal:)
How times have changed.
Ron likes me in denim too, although I am just as likely to get a swat or two if I'm in something stretchy.
I'm sure VPLs are still around. Have you tried Wal-Mart?
That was such an appropriate quote. Thank you, Ricky.
They both have their uses.
I haven't heard this much discussion about fabric since Grade 9 Home Economics class.
