Friday FAIL

We've had some horrendous winter weather during the past week.

The pictures below will give you some idea of what life in Canada can be like.

This was us two days ago, chipping an inch of ice off the cars.

This last picture was taken in our back yard. Tree branches are coated with a layer of ice and they tinkle when the wind blows. The poor squirrels are slipping and sliding off them!

Wow, brrr! Love the pic of your back yard. I hope you are staying nice and warm and have managed to retain power etc.

Hermione, with Canadian cold weather like that, would you say, its good to have a warm spanked bare bottom to make life worth living. By the way congratulations on being asked to take over Bonnie, from My Bottom Smarts, job. In my opinion she chose the right person YOU, to take over her important mantle.

Wow! That's a lot of snow. We don't get any here. I miss it a lot. :)

My grandma used to feed her squirrels daily during the winter just in case they didn't have enough food stored up or the ground was too hard to get to the nuts. One day, she forgot to feed them and she heard a little tapping at her door. When she opened the door she couldn't believe it, there sat a squirrel waiting for some food! She loved that so much and retold that story often. Miss you grandma (3 years celebrating in heaven now and feeding the angel squirrels)

I love when the ice covers the trees it looks so pretty but I never thought of the poor squirrles.

Quiet Sara, I love your grandma's squirrel story, how sweet.

Enjoyed the pictures and the only thing I have to say is better you than me.

The backyard pix are beautiful but my favorite is Free Snow - U haul. Had both Ray and I chuckling.

Definitely weather fails.

Wow Hermione, never seen such weather over here. Our country would grind to a halt for months. Good luck in the coming months

Roz - We never lost our power, thank goodness, but there are 80,000+ people still without, after 6 days.

Six - Spankings are very necessary in this weather! Thank you for your support. I will try to live up to Bonnie's high standard.

Sara - What a sweet story! I used to have grapevine balls covered with white lights in the apple tree outside. One year the squirrels munched through the vines and into the wires. No more feeding squirrels in the winter for us!

Minelle - It's starting to warm up a few degrees.

Kaki - It's gorgeous outside, but dangerous when the branches and power lines fall because of the ice.

Leigh (or Sunny) - We wouldn't get any takers with that sign:)

Jan - Even tough we're used to winter weather, this is exceptionally bad.

Hugs,
Hermione

It is in the 80s here and I hate it. But I'd die in that snow. Isn't there anywhere where it's a nice chilly 50s or so??

Hermione: hope you have had electricity throughout the storm and beyond, as many others have not. At least spankers can stay warm with the exertion of spanking, and spankees can stay warm because all their concentration is on their hot red bottom.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New year
