The Liebster Award

Minelle very kindly nominated me for a Liebster Award. Wow! What can I say?

I like the questions she asked, so here they are, along with my answers.

Who was your first kiss? My dog.

What is your favorite family tradition? Going for Christmas light walks in our neighbourhood the week before Christmas.

What is your favorite ethnic food? Cabbage rolls because they remind me of my childhood.

Do you exaggerate when telling a story?

What is the worst practical joke you ever played on someone? I can't remember any, although I must have done so at least once. Maybe I'm blocking it for good reason:)

What is your favorite cologne? I like the scent of Pierre Cardin on a man.

What is the most daring thing you ever did? Not follow all the rules attached to winning this award.

What is the funniest movie you ever saw? Borat.

Favorite junk food, salty or sweet? Salty. My dentist told me to avoid sweets, and salty snacks were safer for my teeth.

Favorite trash read? Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series.

Do you exercise? I walk regularly.

Hi Hermione,

Never seen Borat, is it really funny?

Thanks for sharing.

Love how you did it your way! Of course I'm thinking....don't you ever do anything mischievous, besides not following all the rules? Oh wait that covers a lot of ground!

Thanks for humoring me, this was fun!

I love Sophie Kinsella's books too. They are always a hoot.

Love the way you responded.

Joey - It was a lot of fun.

SNP - Thanks. It brought back some memories.

Ronnie - Very funny, but quite politically incorrect, and blatantly sexual.

Minelle - That pretty much covers all the bases. A rebel, that's me:)

Sunnygirl - I just finished reading Twenties Girl which wasn't quite as good to begin with, but I ended up enjoying it.

Cabbage rolls are one of my favorite foods too, only we call them golumpki. We are having them for Thanksgiving dinner. (I really want turkey though)

Thanks for sharing some fact about yourself.

You should try thai cabbage rolls. They are so good they should be illegal.

Congratulations, Hermione!
Love your replies.
If you don't mind my asking,
what do you like with your
cabbage rolls?
(Forgive me, I'm not a gourmet, but
I'd like to be.)

Kaki - That's what we called them too. I don't think we ever had them for Thanksgiving, though.

Brian - They sound yummy. I'll see if I can find some.

Lillie - Thank you.

Red - I have all bases covered - I eat dark chocolate too.

Ricky - Cabbage rolls are really a complete meal so I often don't serve them with anything else, other than tomato sauce. Sometimes an extra vegetable as a side.

Belle - It was my pleasure.

MyMask - Why, thank you!
