Our discussion this week was about a time when you should have been spanked, but weren't.
Roz: There have been times I felt I deserved a spanking and it didn't happen.
This was usually because he felt spanking wasn't warranted after
considering all of the circumstances. The issue was usually resolved
through discussion.
There have been other occasions were
alternatives were used such as writing lines, being banned from the
computer etc. These have also been used in conjunction with a spanking.
Leigh: Yes to the first question. [Did you ever deserve a spanking but not get one?]
No to the second question. [Was there an alternate punishment?]
Depends - but usually it is just glossed over on the third question.[Did the issue get resolved another way?]
Arched one: There are times I knew I messed up and requested I get punishment and do
get it. Other times she tells me I'm getting punished and with the
implement in her hand, me nude before her, she scolds me for what I did
and by the time the scolding is over I know I deserve it. The problem is
not forgotten until the spanking is over.
Nina: Hi Hermione, there have definitely been times when I thought I deserved a
spanking and hubby didn't give one. Some of them had alternative
punishments like early bedtime or not watching a tv show I'd have liked
to see. In a few cases I asked for a spanking even after the alternative
punishment was finished, because I couldn't get over it completely
otherwise.
Ronnie: I remember two occasions I felt I deserved being spanked and it didn't
happen because of certain circumstances. One I got the day after and the
other one was forgotten. There is never an alternative punishment for
me, just a spanking.
Hermione: We don't do punishment spankings, but I think I really deserved one recently. Ron was taking one of our cars to a garage for routine maintenance. I drove our other car, Ron's pride and joy, to the garage too, so that I could drive Ron home after he had dropped the first car off. I parked beside a building next to the garage, but as I eased into the parking spot, I felt the front bumper scrape against the cement parking barrier. The barrier was probably about 8 inches high, but the bumper was lower than that, and I knew I had caused some damage. Ron got into the car and we drove home. When he was otherwise occupied, I went out to inspect the damage. There was a series of tiny scrapes all along the bottom edge. They wasn't visible unless you bent down and intentionally looked for them, but I knew Ron would find them when he washed the car. I also knew he would be furious because I've done this before, with the other car, and had been warned to be more careful in future.
Luckily, this happened last November, so car washing wasn't likely until spring. In the meantime, I got a black permanent marker and rubbed it over the scratches, making them less noticeable. Ron only noticed the scratches when he washed the car a couple of weeks ago. He assumed that he had somehow caused the damage himself, bought some touch-up paint, and the car now looks as good as new. I have no intention of confessing, and he is still none the wiser - unless he reads this post!

Oh gosh Hermione! I'm cracking up! Now I don't feel bad for punching my Scotsman in the arm! Sigh....we all have a mischievous side!
Oh Hermione, that made me laugh! I am now awaiting the post that tells of the spanking because he read this post!!
love Jan,xx
Hermione - Bad girl! Accidents happen and do not merit spankings in of themselves in my book. However, failing to acknowledge accidents and even worse attempting to conceal accidents - all that is worthy of a spanking... a serious spanking!
LOL! Ron almost never reads my blog, but what do you want to bet that he will read this post? If he does, I'll let you know the outcome.
Hugs,
Hermione
Hi Hermione, :). When I read this one I just wanted to give you a hug. It was an accident, but still carrying the knowledge of it all and still knowing that it likely will upset the fella you love the most... Well I hope that you two have the chance to talk about it and straighten it out. :). You will feel better I think. Many hugs,
<3 Katie
