I'm sorry to have to tell you that Red Often's blog Consensual Spanking is gone for good. Last week Google removed it because somehow a virus from Red's computer got attached to a post he uploaded. Since then, the blog has been reviewed and it seems Red violated Google's terms of service, so they will not restore his blog.
As some of you may already know, Red had been planning to close his blog, although the decision of exactly when was taken out of his hands. Red is enjoying his extra free time and wishes you all a warm "Bottoms Up!"

I feel like blogland is dying around us. It's very sad. There are so many people I miss.
I’m so happy you let us know! I tried to find out and haven’t been able to hear why he stopped. Ridiculous reason google! I will miss Red!
Farewell! It's bad to see such a fun site disappear.
That's really unfortunate. His blog will be missed.
I always felt light hearted after reading Red's page. Thanks to him who had spread smiles on our faces for years ! And thanks to you for telling us.
Thanks for letting us know Hermione. He will be missed.
Terrible news, THE best spanking blog that brought a smile to my face everyday! Please find a new way to start again!
That is such a shame. Red will be missed.
Hugs

It is a sad time in spanking blogland. Glenmoretales stopped recently. Now consensualspanking. Hermione's blog is and always will be a favorite and so is someoneisgonnagetit and several others. I have looked at many other blogs and I doubt that there is one that can replace consensualspanking. But as we know, Red was going to close it down soon anyway. He was quite creative with his blog and that will be missed.

Sorry to hear this.
Hermione, I Hope you’re not going anywhere.

spanking blog land is slowing down because pre-nuwest spankers / spankees are doing other things. it was in the closet and people finally had an outlet to talk, opine etc.people now have less shame and are to busy spanking to blog. scratching the itch is better than fantizing about it.
Hermione, sorry to hear this. Thanks for letting us know. Red will be missed.
Love,
Ronnie

A great resource which will be sorely missed.
And typical Google behavior: collect ad revenue and tracking data for 12 years, then at the first hint of a problem declare the blog retroactively in violation of terms and delete it.
Sad news for sure. All the best Red.
Thank you for posting this Hermione! I will be commenting occasionally, but have to use anonymous, as blogger stops me from entering my red often .
bottoms up
Red
