You're a Naughty Boy!

One of my favourite television programs in the 70s was Fawlty Towers starring the great John Cleese. Basil Fawlty and his wife ran a hotel in seaside town, and suffered many mishaps over the course of twelve episodes.

One of the more memorable scenes is the one in which Basil arrives home after some renovations have been scheduled and finds that nothing has been done. It turns out that the fault was his, and he proceeds to give himself a spanking.

Who's a naughty boy, then?

I loved watching shows with John in them he is funny. I agree he should be spanked for not getting the job done, but should have asked her to spank him. Never had to self spank but R has sent me for the implement(s) she wants then had me bare my bottom and tell her I'm ready for my spanking.

Arched one - I thought the self-spanking was a clever idea. Not in real life fro em either.

Roz - I was entranced by that episode and was a faithful viewer from then on, especially hoping to see it in reruns.

Fondles - My pleasure!

Daisy - He needed lots of them, because freaking out was what he did best:)

Sunny - Aha! Another fan!

Sarah - My pleasure.

Ronnie - I was musing about what to post today, and the image just sprang into my head. Lucky for me, I found it easily on YouTube.

Great show! Just rewatched it recently on NetFlix. :-D My favorite part was how they fooled around with the name of the hotel each time on the opening credits.

Well, at least he took his angst out on himself.
The magic of John Cleese is that he can take self-made frustration and turn it into a comedy, so that we can laugh at ourselves.

Erica - I had forgotten about that. I wish our Canadian Netflix had decent shows. I had to sign up and give them a credit card number in order to see what is available, then found nothing to my liking and had to cancel my account.

Ricky - John is such a creative entertainer.

Hermione

Mike - Which war? The big one, WW 2?
