Baby, it's cold outside

Winter has hit hard here in Canada, with an assortment of snow, freezing rain and high winds. Then came the rain to transform the snow to slush, and was that ever hard to shovel! It was soon followed by a deep freeze that turned the slush rock-hard and made walking nearly impossible.

But that's the way it is here , and we try to make the best of it.

We really do freeze our buns off!

The dogs hate going outside, but what's the alternative? Oh, right, on the rug in the corner of the living room where they think no one will notice.

Oops!

Those of us without snowblowers have an especially hard time.

We prefer to think of it as exercise. You ought to see my biceps!

Our neighbours are especially creative

...or tsunamis, or tornados, or earthquakes, or volcanic eruptions.

It's here for another three months at least.

Hermione the best remedy for a cold cold winter of ice, and snow in Canada, and elsewhere in this world of ours, is a red hot spanked female bare bottom. It lights up with fervent sexual and erotic excitement of every man, including your every loving husband.

Oh..we are getting that same weather here...why is it that winter days are the shortest, but seem to last forever. I love the butt one.....and we here in Western NY...have been having that same conversation...at least we don't get tornadoes or hurricanes or...

Love the captions and cartoons Hermione. Since you didn't ask, I won't tell you about the awful weather we are having in Phoenix.

Six - I'll have to agree with you. It's the best way to stay warm.

abby - It's best to look on the bright side. The days are getting longer.

sub hub - It's okay. I sympathize if you are having terrible weather too.

Hugs,
Hermione

Hi Hermoine, sorry about the extreme cold and sno. Stay safe.

Um, maybe I shouldn't mention that it's summer here :)

Unfortunate about the weather, but normal once or twice a year I think. At least you have the junior world ice hockey championship to warm your heart, and a loving husband to warm your bottom. What a wonderful evening activity when you cannot go outside. (loved the cartoons)
stay safe

So sorry about your weather but I love how you have a sense of humor about it. They are so wonderfully funny.

Roz - I know, and I thought of you when I put together tomorrow's Complete the Caption.

Red - The hockey game rocked!

Leigh - You have to laugh, otherwise you'd cry;)

Hermione,

I don't like the cold so I know I wouldn't like it there in the winter.

These made me smile.

Ronnie

I look at your snow, then at our temperature gauge which has been hovering around 40 degrees (Celsius) for the past week and I think I have got the best of the deal. Please try to stay warm and healthy

Boy, you want to believe it's cold . . . frigid is more like it!

You know, I can never figure out
the why and wherefore of a car
windshield's frosting up; today
it was clear, but the door latches were frozen.

Luv your neighbors' wishes for an
early Easter.

Brrr!

So sorry you are enduring that horrible weather. We've had a bit of snow but right now we have horrible cold...this morning was -8F with a wind chill of -18F...I'm not going out of the house!

Hope you stay warm, cozy and safe Hermione!

Hugs and Blessings...

Here in Chicago, it is brutal. I like winter, but I don't much like zero degrees and a 20 mph wind. I went out of the office for a walk today and that wind hit me and I ran back into the office. My Samoyed dog, tho, loves the cold.

Hi Hermione,
We seem to get your "2nd hand weather". Freezing & some snow here, too.

Love the cat pics. Ours are indoor cats but they meow at the door anyway. When we open the door & they feel the cold they just scamper back to the fireplace!

Keep warm,
R.

Julia - So am I ;(

Jan - We get used to it.

Ronnie - I much prefer the hot summers.

Don - I think so too. Our family spent Christmas down under, and it was quite a change from the cold.

Ricky - I had to kick the back door several times before I could get it open. The dogs had their legs crossed, waiting for me to open it.

Saiorse - So you feel mu pain.

Cat - Our wind chill was around -30 yesterday. Brrr!

Baxter - They don't call it the windy city for nothing.

A. Lurker - Smart cats!

Hugs,
Hermione

I tried to talk Dragon into moving to the Florida Keys but he wouldn't go for it. If it keeps getting colder, he may change his mind. Shivers
