Things that make me go AARGH!
Whenever I see an apostrophe misused, misplaced or omitted, I want to scream. I'm not the only one who feels this way, as you can see from these images of apostrophe abuse.

Oh drives me crazy!!!! And when people write thank's. ?? Lol
This drives me absolutely bonkers, too. Know what else gets me? When people confuse 'advise' with 'advice.' I just love those professional emails that say, 'Please take a look at the attached memo as advice as needed.' :(
It so makes me want to go back and get my red pens out!!!!

It's one of the grammar faux pas I don't think I abuse. I know the difference I just hope I always catch it when I'm writing.
.....um, I might do this and other grammatical equivalents of sneezing in someone else's soup.....

Yes annoys the life out of me too actually. Not as much as the misuse and overuse of the exclamation mark right enough! These change the whole tone of a sentence. But only obviously to those who know how to read the sentence 'properly' in the first place.

Jessa - Whenever people ask me whether it's practise or practice (or license vs licence)I tell them to use advise and advice as a model.
Abby - Or turn on the red font in Word.
Sunny - Sometimes Autocorrect foils one's efforts.

You know that this drives ME up the wall. It's getting to the point where one of my criteria for vetting tops is "Can use apostrophes properly."
I guess I am not the only one bothered by grammatical errors. Thanks for sharing

I'm a bit late to the comment table but I'd like to add my 2 cents!
You're lucky you don't live in this province because years ago the language police stole all our apostrophies. (think MacDonalds, Ardenes, Madisons, etc.). Very annoying!

Every time someone uses an apostrophe to make a word plural a fairy loses its wings. True facts. Great post!
