Thanks a Half-Million!

I can't believe it! My blog counter just topped the half-million mark. That's a lot of page hits!

I can't take all the credit for it. My
faithful and persistent readers who keep coming back day after day are the ones behind this. You are the reason I keep on blogging. What would I do without you?

Thank you all for helping Hermione's Heart to keep on beating.

From Hermione's Heart

Hermione: the reason people keep coming back is that your blog has interesting material daily, all on the spanking theme. I think Ron should give you extra spankings this weekend in honor of such a wonderful accomplishment.

Hooray! The first half-million is definitely the hardest. :) I agree with Redxxx that the (not so) secret is and always was quality content.

Well done!

BIG HUGE CONGRATULATIONS, Hermione! Like Redxxx and Bonnie said, you always have fresh, interesting, witty and quality material which never fails to delight. Rock on to your One Millionth hit.

Oh Hermione, congratulations my friend, here's to the next half million.

I agree, the reason we all come back is because your posts are always so interesting, funny and original. We love to visit you.

Love and hugs,

Red - I did tell Ron about this milestone, and that a celebration was in order.

Bonnie - Thank you. I'm pleased that my content seems to be worthy of return visits.

Michael - What a lovely compliment. I fully intend to keep on truckin'.

Ronnie - Finding new material certainly keeps me on my toes, and is such fun.

Congratulations on reaching the half million. Doesn't it feel good when the figures are so large that you have to express them in fractions.

Well done Hermione! You definitely have a wonderful way of bring people back. Now if you could just figure out a way to get everyone who drops by to comment! And then tell the rest of us.

A tremendous feat! Conspankulations!
I do enjoy your blog, it is unique in the Blogosphere and hugely entertaining!
Henry once spanked me 200 times for having 200 hits in one night on a blog post. Perhaps you could get your 1/2 million in increments or implements, which ever you prefer!

Congrats... can promise the next 500,000 will come a lot quicker.

Hermione, congratulations, you have a quality blog here.
I don't comment much, but I never miss a post.
You will be hitting a million soon, I'm sure.
Warm hugs,

Prefectdt - That's an imaginative way of looking at it. I like it!

Season - Glad to hear it, because my intention is exactly that.

Devlin - I'm pleased to have found my formula, and have no intention of messing with success.

PK - I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. On some weekends, after Chross has mentioned me, I get a few thousand new hits on a post from earlier that week, but rarely any additional comments.

Elysia - A half-million spanks? Even I wouldn't be up to that. It's a nice thought, though.

Todd and Suzy - That's good to know. I'm looking forward to it.

Paul - Thank you. I'm so pleased you are one of my regulars.

That's one Hell of a milestone. :) I wish I had an accurate count of my visits since I started my own blog, but I didn't actually add a stat counter until a year or so afterwards. Hindsight is 20/20, though.

That's fantastic! Congratulations, Hermione. :-D

Thomas - Oh, well, better late than never.

Erica - Thank you. I'm really pleased.

And for those of you who might be curious, Ron thought it was funny that a spanking blog should get half a million hits, and did indeed give me a congratulatory spanking. Not half a million, but enough to make me glad that the next half-million is still many months away.
