Word of the Day

I was doing research on the internet the other day, and stumbled across this amazing word:

badonkadonk

Did you know that it means Extremely curvaceous female buttocks?

According to the onomatopoeic dictionary Written Sound:

When the immense, rounded muscle tissue of the rear creates a sound wave ripping through the local environment making a pressure wave against the ear drum in a pleasing Ba-dOnk-a-dOnk rhythm.

Also: A woman's derriere that has the shape of, and bounces like a basketball. The word is derived from the sound produced when you bounce a basketball.

The definitions in the Urban dictionary are well worth investigating too. (There are pictures!)

Now we know you are not a country music fan. Trace Atkins did a song on
Badonkadonks a few years back.

For those who like to see HIGHLY spankable Badonkadonks, see this Youtube.

eNo, Hermoine, I did'nt know the meaning of the word 'Badonkadonks', But if I had a choice to its meaning, I would have just substituted the word 'Hermoine', which in my humble opinion would mean the same thing. Would'nt you agree?

i do not think I can even pronounce this word... but if that is what it is called, the sight and sound has always been enticing.

Hmm have heard this excellent tushy-tastic word used before, but never knew how to spell it....now I know:-)

I wonder who first made up this word and how..."Geez, look at that backside...what a nice...badonkadonk."

Ronnie - Someone had a vivid imagination when they came up with the word.

Wordsmith - It does sound like a bouncing ball.

Daisy - Sure, go ahead.

Love it :) Now I am going to spend the next few days trying to think of a way that I can slip this into a conversation in real life. Not easy when most of my conversations are in Flemish.

Prefectdt

Prefectdt - Perhaps it might pass as a horticultural name for some exotic species of shrub, native to the Southern US.

Burl - I try my best.

Lea - I didn't realize the word was so popular.

Cedenogems - I guess the meaning is obvious when used in context.
