These pictures are from a show in a cellar-club in Paris called Crazy Horse. It’s famous for its amazing chorus girls and its mise-en-scene. But don't worry if you can't make it to Paris. The performers tour frequently, and they also have a permanent show at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.

Fabulous imagery. But what really is the meaning of "mise en scene". I understand it as something that takes place between scenes, but the way it's used you get the feeling that there's something more than that being referred to. Anyone?

We often visit the MGM, but can't get S to go to this show. And to think I went to Barry Manilow for her. That was traumatic I can tell you!
Wouldn't mind seeing that show, I bet it's very good.
Thanks Hermione.
Love,
Ronnie

Karl - The phrase may very well be used incorrectly. That sentence was part of a caption of one of the pictures. I have never seen the show do can't help.
WotB - If you had to suffer through Barry for her, the least she can do is go with you to see this show.
Ronnie - I think so too. Maybe they'll come to Canada on tour.

Hermione

Interesting. I need to get to the MGM Grand, I'd love to see Drew Carey's Improvaganza too.
Wow, hubby would love this. I'd be in for a hard night after seeing this show. ;)
Daisy - Very cool!
Red - I hope someday you can see both shows. Economize by having baguettes and wine for dinner.
Lea - That sounds like a good show too. He's such a funny man.

Hermione
Maui Girl - Sorry I missed you. Your comment went into the spam bucket. I hope you and hubby will one day be able to enjoy the show, as well as the festivities that will surely follow.
Hugs,
Hermione
No problem. Glad to jump out of the spam bucket. ;)
