It's been a while since I showed you a pervertible and asked you to guess what it was used for in its vanilla incarnation.
This one's a little different. There's no obvious handle, but a man's hand could grip it without too much difficulty. It's related to food and beverages, but could be found in any room of the house.
What do you think it is? My Australian readers might have a slight edge in this competition. (That's a hint.)
Please leave your guess as a comment, and I'll post the answer in a day or two.
Good luck!

I would guess its a hummingbird bird house. Geez I'll bet it whistles in motion.
Hygs,fab
Probably the head of a meat hammer, with the handle removed.
Hermione, while we were trying to guess, I looked at bear and said, 'That's not a spanking implement is it?' and he said 'No but this is!' Hauled me up and threw me over his knee on the sofa and spanked me hard with his hand, heheheh, thanks.
We are unsure but think it might be a funky wine bottle holder
The Australian hint threw me a bit because then I started thinking kangaroos and stuff, but it's a wine bottle holder, right? One of those ones that balances the bottle in mid-air?
My immediate thought was that it was, as Bear and Penfold, and subtletimes said, one of those novelty winebottle holders that suspends the bottle in midair...the neck of the bottle goes in the hole and it balances perfectly... but it's slightly different to my one, mine doesn't have a rounded edge at the top; the top edge of mine is parallel to the bottom edge...
Hugs, Daisy xxxxxxx
I also thought it was a wine bottle holder, but don't know what that would have to do with Australia...
If you hadn't said it was to do with F&B, I would have said it's for birds, our next door neighbour has something like this in his garden.
You got me on this one. Look forward to hearing what it is.
Love.
